Today was the next day, the day of the party. It was 6pm and Rose and Dave were about to go prepare snacks when you heard a knock on the door. You stood up to go get it with Dave and Rose behind you. You opened the door to see John. "Hi John, you know that party doesn't start unti--" you were cut off to see a girl with wavy blonde hair and black lipstick slide out from behind him and declare excitedly, "What's up!" A boy with dark obtuse shades slid from behind the girl and said "Hey." in a monotone voice. You heard Dave and Rose scream behind you in unison which seemed to be their names. "Roxy!" Yelled Rose as Dave yelled, "Dirk?!" You stood in awe staring at the two when something slipped out of your mouth, "The scalene triangle"
A few minutes later you were sitting on the couch with John, Dave, Rose and the two new guests. "So this is your brother Dirk." You said to Dave, pointing to the blonde boy to your right. "And this is Roxy your sister." You said to Rose pointing to the girl on your left. They both responded with 'yes'. After another few minutes of introduction Rose began talking to Roxy, "It's been quite a while hasn't it? What are you doing here." Roxy responded, "Mhmm! Well Johnny over there went up and called me out of the blue! Asked me if I can politely get my ass over here and bring Dirky with me." Dirk commented, "Yeah, she's right she's sober enough to answer correctly." "Ugh Dirk!! You know I stopped drinking forever ago!! Excuse you but if anything I've been sober as hell for a few years now, even with the occasional drink or two." She said with a pout on her face. "Yeah, yeah I know Roxy" he said smiling while patting her head, "It was just a joke. If anything I'm proud of you." She smiled childishly, "Aww I am too."
(For the plot of the story we need something only Roxy can provide but I don't want to make it that she is a huge drinker because she isn't anymore and Dirk and Roxy are cute okay)
They have such a nice relationship you thought to yourself.. They seem more like friends than relatives but you guess that's what makes it better. John stood up and called you over to them. He whispered in your ear, "Hey we should let them do their sibling bonding stuff okay, why don't you help me set up the snacks and stuff?" You agreed and when with John to get the things ready. You prepared the snacks while John prepared the drinks. You could hear the Striders and Lalondes talking, laughing, and all around having a good time. Some you didn't have much to talk about with John since he looked like he was doing his own little thing you began talking to yourself and daydreaming.
Hmmm. It's been quite a while since I've gotten one of those headaches again.... Thank goodness. Those things were so painful. But it kind of felt a bit weird at the same time, those memory things were kinda helpful. Like today when you saw Dirk you accidentally said "the scalene triangle" while looking at his shades... It reminded you about the Christmas memory you had a while ago...
Third Person P.O.V
To the Striders and Lalondes
(There are going to be a lot of comments jumping in so to make it easier I'm gonna do it like this)
Dirk: "So Dave, Rose... it's her right?"
Dave: "We--"
Rose: "Indeed it is, and Dave seems to still like her" Rose and Dirk chuckled.
Roxy: "Ooohhh!! Daveyy!!! Looks like you got a crush" ;)
Dave: "Ha, yeah I guess you could say that.."
Dirk: "Yeah but I guess she still hasn't fully recovered has she."
Dave: "Yeah-- wait what do you mean by fully?"
Rose: "why you still haven't noticed??"
Roxy: "Look Dave remember last Christmas. THE SCALENE TRIANGLE" she silently yelled
Dirk: "Don't tell me YOU don't remember!" He said with a grin
Dave: "That was.. That was the first time she met you right?"
Dirk, Rose, & Roxy: "Yeaaaaahhh?!?" They all said leaning closer to Dave.
Dave: "THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME SHE MET YOU"
Dirk: "looks like we have a winner."
Ross: "I'm shocked to be related to someone with such poor knowledge speed Dave" she said dramatically raising her hand to her forehead
Roxy: Woo!! Dave that means she's remembering!!!!
Dave: "I... I can't believe it... I'm so happy." He smiled
Rose: "Yes, we all are but don't make this some sappy story. Let's continue with our conversation before the party fully starts."
Roxy: "Speakin' about party's..."
Regular P.O.V
You were still daydreaming until Roxy's yelling snapped you out of it. "JOHN I WAS PROMISED A JANEY WHERE IS SHE." Roxy yelled at John, he yelled back "Jade is gonna come over here with Jane don't worry!!"
You began to feel a bit strange and... The damn headaches again. "h-hey John." You asked, "I'm not feeling to well so I'm just gonna nap in my room for a bit okay." "Oh okay, sure. Feel better" John said as he went to continue preparing the rest of the things. You passed by the living room to tell them all the same thing you told John as they all told you they hope you feel better, such as John did. You went to your room and laid on your bed.

Now you were in a coffee shop you had a jacket on with matching gloves. You were sitting down with what seemed to be Dirk, Roxy, and two other people. According to the girl next to Roxy, it was a day after Christmas. As everyone talked you got up out of your seat and announced, "Okay guys, I'm going to go get some drinks. Jake, what do you want?" Oh so you guess the guy with black hair and square glasses next to Dirk was this Jake guy.. Jake took his order as you talked to yourself, next was Dirk, then Roxy, and now.. Is that Jane? Roxy talked about some Jane person she wanted to see. "Okay Janey your turn to order!" Roxy said looking at the girl with the light blue sweater and oval glasses. "I'll have--" weird... I kind of remember that day a bit more clearly now... The memory soon faded away and with that you woke up.
You walked back to the living room, assuming John finished setting up everything. You saw Dave, Dirk, Roxy, Rose, now Jade (and from what you remember) and Jane. Dave looked up to you and asked, "You feeling better?" You replied with, "Yeah. It looks like Jade and Jane are here." You waved to Jane and Jade, they waved back but everyone including them were silent. Rose broke the silence by asking "S-So (f/n) do you know Jane by any chance?" Oh shit you forgot that they don't know about the memory things shit shit shit play it cool shit. "Oh um... Uh....d-didn't you guys say something about some Jane girl coming over with Jade?? Jade was here so I just assumed it was her..." "Oh yeah...!" John replied.
"I-I told that to Roxy hahaha..."
