The Kings Servent (Sonadow)

Sonic POV

I struggled against their chains. I wasn't able to run away, they had managed to put some type of gadget around my wrist that prevented me from being able to use my speed.
Dammit! I thought. I should've never took all that stupid bread! It didn't even taste good anyways...

The soldiers took me into the Castle gates. No one ever goes into the Castle gates except for all the rich nobles and theives and criminals like myself, I guess. I stopped fighting against them, as it was no use, and they took me to a building a ways from the castle. It was surrounded by more soldiers, bears and wolves seemed to make up the majority of them.

My poor Spooks! She's gonna wonder where I went.. My little black cat was probably wondering why I wasn't back yet. Well maybe I would be if these stupid people didn't get so worked up over some bread! Okay well.. maybe a bit more than bread like meat and fish for Spooks, I gotta have the best for her! Oh and those super cool comics that the one store sells! Also a little bit of sweets from the candy shop, but I can't help myself! Those sugar cookies are the best! Oh and I can't just forget the best thing in world! Chili dogs! Okay, okay, maybe I do deserve this but I don't actually care soo, I'll just have to escape. Again. Ugh that's gonna be a pain..

Shadow POV

I was reading one of my favorite books in the library when suddenly the doors opened and in walked a servent.

"Your majesty, I'm sorry too bother you but the head soldier wanted to inform you that a certain theif has been captured again, the blue one. We've manged to restrain his speed but we aren't sure if the dungeons will be able to contain him this time sir. He got out last time and we don't want him breaking out again, he's a real bother to all the town's people."

"I thought you guys took care of him? Are you asking me to deal with him myself?" I growled. I was just getting to the good part of my book, I was not in the mood to handle some lowlife peasant.

"W-well, the head soldier said he would advise it. Other wise we would have to just execute the criminal.." The servant, a bunny, gulped as she rocked back and forth nervously.

I sighed and stood up, placing my book back on a shelf. "Where's Kunckles?"

The bunny replied, "He's in the great hall, waiting for you sir. With the theif."

I walk past her, and make my way to the Great Hall, taking some lefts and rights through the corridors. As I walk into the Hall, I see a blue hedgehog in chains next to Knuckles, my head soldier. He's the most strongest out of all of them.

"Nice cape." The blue idiot says, pointing to my cloak. "You kinda look like super man, but like, evil y'know? Why do you always look grumpy? That look makes you seem like an asshole."

"Excuse me?" I growl, walking over and grabbing him by his neck. "Do you know who you are talking to you nuisance? If I were you I'd watch that mouth before you go around thinking you can speak like that to people, especially me. Your life means nothing to me and I have the power to take it away. Is that what you want you bastard?"

My grip around his neck tightens as he struggles and whimpers, his eyes tightly shut and his hands start trying to break my grip but I don't move them. Just then he opens his eyes and locks them with mine.

A blurry and faint picture pops in my mind of a pair of green eyes formed in a smile. The blue figure who they belonged to was laughing.
Right then a sharp pain hits through my mind and my vision gets blurry and dizzy. My hold on the hedgehog vanishes as I stumble backwards  and clench my head. Knuckles catches me and places me on a chair, calling my name but it's so muffled and I can't comprehend anything right now.

I blackout.

Sonic POV

As the douche lets go and drops me on the floor I start coughing and gasping for air. Rubbing my neck and propping myself up on the floor. I see the red one tending to him. Uh excuse me? I almost died and no one's helping me? How rude. Plus the first thing this asshole does after not seeing me for a very long time is to try to strangle me?! Not cool.

"What the hell is wrong with him?" I say. The echidna ignores me and calls for someone on some type of walkie talkie thing.

"Rouge get some nurses in here right now. Shadow collapsed again, he's barley conscious but hurry." He turns and looks at me with some type of uncertainty and confusion.

"Okay got it. Be right there." A female voice responded.

"What's your name hedgehog?" He asked, turning to me. I didn't get a chance to respond before a bunch of mobians came in wearing white and helped the faker up, walking him out of the room. Just then a white bat came flying in and landed next to Mr. Red.

"What happened Kunckles? Shadow hasn't had one of these blackouts in ages?" The white bat, whom I assume is Rouge, glances at me for a second before returning her attention to Knuckles.

"I'm not sure.. This little shit made him mad and he started choking him. I think he might've triggered Shadow's memory somehow." Knuckles roughly grabs my arm, lifting me to my feet.

"He needs to be there when he wakes up. He could possibly help with his memory." Knuckles says.

"Woah, woah, woah. Hold up what is happening? Why did the ass blackout? What is going on?" I say incredibly confused.

"Mind your business twat. Your coming with us." The big red bitch grabs my arm and starts taking me with him. Rouge following behind.

Oh jeez.. What do I have to do with his blackout? I practically just met the guy.

Woah first ever sonadow fic! I hope you enjoyed this first chapter, kinda introduces some of the characters.
Just so you guys know, I'm new to the fandom and still trying to learn about all the characters so I'm sorry if I get anything wrong! Also this is just my own little AU and again sorry if I get somethings wrong! I'm trying my best to get everything right, so it makes sense :)
