A bell rang, lol this house has a bell? Did they think this through? First a house in a house and now a bell.

I saw her holding in her laughter as I walked to the door and opened up. And mavis stood there with a rolling tray with lots of food.
Mavis: Queen mother asked me to bring some food for the Queen
Me: And you brought the whole kitchen?
She smiled.
Mavis: just a few things for her to nibble on. I moved out of the way and she smiled at Kalechi
Mavis: You missed dinner
Kalechi: i thought ill sleep a bit. Am sorry.
Mavis: No worries. I got you a selection of food here that you can pick from and ill see you tomorrow morning so we can talk about the menu for the week.
Kalechi: will it be to weird of I say surprise with whatever you feel like cooking?
I watched as Mavis beamed with pride.
Mavis: ill do so. Goodnight your highness. She turned leaving and I stood there watching her looking the bowls that were there. She took a plate and dished out things for herself.
Kalechi: You hungry?
Me: No I ate.
Kalechi: oh. She walked to the counter with her food and I stood there for a while not sure what to do or say. She was eating and focused on her foo

He looked so goofy and nerdy standing there not sure what to do with himself. Its one thing knowing you will get married and another thing when the person is here in your house wearing your clothes.
Smanga: uhm , am going to shower.
I nodded and he vanished.

Wow bravo. Am going to shower? Who announces bathing? I think my family didn't think this through. Its been 8 years since iv been in a relationship. Ever since Londeka and how she broke my heart, iv kind of made it a point not to date or attach myself to woman. Yes Iv had a few fuck buddies here and there in varsity but never something that will last more than a month and now my dreams are a reality? How does one even begin to understand that or live with that? I walked into the shower.

I finished eating and than cleaned up a bit and once done with everything. I walked up the stairs to the bedroom and I food him standing there in his sleeping pants only and his muscle tone body looking hot. He had his back turned to me and a huge tattoo of a tiger was at his back. I don't know when I got to him but my tiny finger was tracing lines on it.

I went rigid to her touch. I stood there not breathing and I could feel my body heating up and looked down to find my guy up.
Me: Uhmmm
Kalechi: am so sorry iv never seen a tattoo up close.
Me: Its okay.
Now how do I get the guy down without her looking at me. Since i was looking in the direction of the bathroom, i decided to walk towards the bathroom and closed the door. I stood there for a while thinking about something else so its goes down and finally it did I walked out to find her in bed. My side of the bed. I didn't say anything so I just walked to the other side and got in bed.
Me: Tomorrow morning will be meeting with the lawyers.
Kalechi: For?
Me: authentication of our customary marriage.
Kalechi: oh
Me: Yes and you be sworn in to being the Queen.
She was silent.
Me: You good?
Kalechi: Am only 21 years old, no degree just a matric and I know nothing about being a Queen. I turned to look at her sparkling eyes.
Me: being a leader is not about the number of degrees you have nor the age. Its about your character.
Kalechi: my character
Me: Yep. Being a leader is about who you are. If you treat your people the way you want to be treated than you never going to have any problems.
Kalechi: Really
Me: That how iv been doing it and so its been good.
Kalechi: I have an interview with the press tomorrow and I don't know what they will ask or what will happen.
Me: Trust my mother to do that. Am sure its a tiny meet and greet.
Kalechi: Will you be there?
Me: I don't do interviews
Kalechi: is it that bad?
Me: No its not, its just a preference.
Kalechi: Can I prefer not to do them too?
I looked at her and saw how nervous she is and I also remembered that we can't be both spotlight shy.
Me: Will it help if am there in the background to cheer you on?
She broke into a smile that warmed up my heart and I knew right that. Iv been in love with her from the day I dreamt of her not knowing she is real and now. Her presence in my life is something that I can't even begin to explain. I hate to say my parents were right in bringing her home.
Kalechi: If you not busy, ill appreciate it.
Me: Ill make time.
Kalechi: Thank you. She shifted on her side of the bed and tide her hair into a pony than braided the pony.
Me: You do that daily?
That came out of my mouth I thought i was thinking it.
Kalechi: Yes
I nodded and watched in amazement as she braided her hair....
