This's gettin' too long
It wasn't a camp. No, it was far from a camp.
A lodge, maybe a resort, one of the two. That's what it was. Yuuei went all out with this one, it was everything he never considered due to their track record.
Katsuki quietly stood still, too entrapped by the view of the building and surrounding area. It was amazing, he knew it would be a one of a kind trip, but this... This was beyond his expectations.
Mineta moved to stand next to him, Katsuki was really the boy's only friend in the class honestly.
"What d'you think it's gonna be like this time?" The short teen asked.
Katsuki shrugged. "As long as villains don't come ruin it, I don't really care what happens. Four eyes'll probably try and make this into some sort of group bonding bullshit"
He watched as the general class's bus unloaded, many familiar faces with it. He couldn't help the excitement at seeing them. He'd grown up with them, they were family.
"The, uh, kids from our blocks..." Mineta mumbled, "Do you think our class's gonna like them?"
"They don't have to, those kids are mine. I'm their Purotekuta"
Mineta smiled. "You are"
The familiar students spotted Mineta and him, practically running to them.
"Purote! You're here!"
"Mineta, you're here too! Are you guys with us?"
Mineta wore a genuinely happy smile the class had never seen and Katsuki reached out to pinch one of the general education student's cheeks. A few 1A students gaped at the scene when the blond spoke, voice light and teasing. "Why the hell else would we be here? I gotta watch your sorry asses"
"Of course you do, oh strong and powerful Purotekuta," One girl monotonously said. Katsuki flipped her off and she laughed.
A teen whose height was somewhere between Mineta and Katsuki's stepped forward. As the boy smiled, his canine teeth became visible. They was elongated. The boy didn't say anything, simply moving to hug Katsuki. Mineta was pulled into it.
When the boy pulled back, he raised his hands to sign. ‹Are you going to stay?›
Katsuki's expression softened, his heart melting at the innocent request. ‹Purote will always stay with you›
The boy, Sumike, nodded, once again pulling him into another hug. A few others joined the hug, one being Kaminari, who threw him a cheeky grin.
It was nice to have something normal. He loved being able to do hero activities and events but to have a chance at a regular school trip? Unbeatable.
The lodge was massive, almost three times his house; and that was saying a lot. Dense woods surrounded the outskirts, creating a faux fence.
Katsuki grinned, finally a decent place.
It wasn't plain, really; it was far too modern looking for it's surroundings and location
The hotel's exterior had white marble columns lacing the entrance, contrasting the dark wooden outside. He followed the others into the building, barely listening to the directions the teachers gave. The interior is just as impressive, with a grand lobby that also had a matching white marble floor, crystal chandeliers, and a soaring ceiling.
"Riverside Pass offers a wide variety of amenities, including spacious and comfortable rooms, a world-class spa, and a rooftop pool with stunning views of the surrounding nature and the nearby river. We hope you have unforgettable experience and a pleasant stay"
What was next, he couldn't help but think. Would they start telling the whole history of the place too?
"Established in eighteen thir—"
He shouldn't have even had the thought. Katsuki glanced over at the student next to him. It was the girl he'd caught trying to eat his drugged gummies one time. What was her name again? Machico? No... Machida. Machida was her name. She had a younger sister who's spent her whole life in the hospital. That's right. He'd had a crush on her once. That was back when he was still figuring himself out. After he'd blindly trusted Sukian, however, he'd learnt to not confess.
He hadn't gotten with anyone since and now he had Kaminari. He had someone he could love and trust again. Now that he was older, now that he'd learned his lesson.
Machida turned to look at him, offering a smile before leaning against him. The touch was welcomed, with Kaminari's fingers interlaced with his one side and Machida on the other. He was with his safe people and it felt good.
Katsuki grinned, turning his attention back to the hostess who was still going over the history of the place. This might actually be a good trip.
