The winds whisper, What, I can't hear, The waters gesture, Where? I ask,
The glistening droplets shine like fresh tears, The dew on a Monday morning, A smile grazes my lips, A true one, in ages.
I'm happy, I say to the winds, I'm glad, I tell the waters, It is true! I shout to the disbelief, That coats the quiet stare, of the forces.
After a long time, now I see The value of life, And the glory of existence, That someone brings with their arrival.
A calm before the storm, this may be But I will rejoice in Him who sustains me, And face the unknown, When it rises against me.
Hope was foreign, but not anymore Now I can look back, And see, not unmarked graves, But flowery paths that I've walked.
The winds stay silent, And the waters roar their assent, I stay true to my words, Forever, forever.
A smile grazes my lips once more.

A/n: Tried something different cuz, I was feeling positive lol! I'm not completely over everything, but I've accepted the truth, and am moving on. For the first time in forever, I'm able to write something that isn't all tears and heartbreak. God, re-reading my own poems make me wanna kill myself lmao. Sry for putting u guys through all of that haha.
