A flower grew, Thorns on its sides, Symbol of gloom, As it struggled, under the unforgiving rain.
A doe stumbled, Over the treacherous roots, Limping into the dark, As it shed rivers of blood.
A lonely bird sang, Melodious tunes stretching her throat, Leaving her stranded, As the water gushed out.
A lifeless rock squeaked, Unknown cries leaving it, As feet trampled it over, And over again.
The Sun shone like life, The flower knew out, The winds blew like silence, The doe closed her eyes.
The waters called in warmth, The cuckoo's song became silent, The dust crawled with the wind, The stone's cries were heard no more.

A/n: It's been a long time I know, sorry guys. I've been busy, with school, life, family, LIFE, etc etc. So many problems plaguing this teen's life what to do? *sighs*
This is an important note, so pls read till the end :)

Writing had always been a comfort for me; a place I escape to when things get too hard. But these days, I don't know why, I haven't been feeling the same about writing. It feels like something I 'have' to do now, not something I 'want' to do. And it hurts all the time now, because I've lost my shelter. I don't think I'll ever come back to this again because, what I'm feeling right now, it feels kinda permanent.
So the gist of what I'm saying is, I'm quitting. Stopping everything. Poems, stories, quotes, everything. Permanently. As of today, I'm no longer a writer, aspiring or not.
I'm really really sorry about this guys, I know there are a lot of people out there who genuinely enjoys what I write, but no. I can't do this anymore. Sorry again guys.
This poem is my last, and I think its a fitting swan song haha. I will be deleting this work, along with 'All ye Well-wishers' and leaving my profile with 0 works. I won't delete my account though, nor my reading lists, bc u guys are still important to me, whether I'm a writer or not. I will be taking a break from Sep 2, and if anyone wants to get in touch, I'll put my IG link in my profile :)
