silver soul - beach house

↻ ◁ II ▷ ↺

SADE WAS a good girl, deep down. She knew that her drug habits were wrong and that she needed help. But she knew that she'd never get better. Her mother, Vivienne was a widowed woman that worked long hours to keep the house running.

From a young age, Sade always felt a tang of loneliness. While she had a brother, she still lacked social interaction and didn't have many friends. Drugs did all the talking for her. Although, before she was introduced to the wonderful world of blow and cigarettes; she was a dork.

Sade loved to paint and read books. She had dreams of becoming a lawyer or doctor someday, before she could even comprehend how much money it would cost to achieve either of them. Sade proudly wore glasses, which she recently traded in for contacts that she'd frequently forget to wear.

"Sade?"

Sade liked the feeling of being sprawled out, high as ever on a random couch. This was her life now. She couldn't even feel her own heartbeat. But she didn't care. There was nothing else to live for.

"Is she okay?"

"Oh my god, someone call 9-1-1!"

If Sade could process her emotions right now, she'd laugh. Laugh at the fact that she felt so cold yet so warm at the same time. The drugs sort of made her more of a critical thinker, she wondered why she felt so hot yet so cold at the same time.

Sade was a mess, completely and utterly. And she was almost proud of it. Proud of the fact that she made her family and friends worry so much about her, even when she didn't want them too. I guess you could say that they were all afraid of her turning out like her father.

The paramedic tried to communicate with her. "Sweetheart, can you hear me."

The voice was saccharine, like her own fathers. She saw him for a second. All she had to say was yes. But she couldn't. Her heart was begging to give out. Her dark brown eyes felt heavy. She could feel the clumps of shed itching it falls out on the back of her head.

"Sade! Stay with me, Sade!"

But Sade couldn't fight it. She was so tired, so very tired. She just wanted to rest, once and for all.
