Winter might be creeping in, but the sun still shone brightly and warmly upon my skin as I stood outside UA High Faculty's dormitory. It could've been a summer's day apart from the cool breeze. The perfect day to see little Eri again.

Midoriya stood beside me, too. We were both dressed in our school uniforms, having just come straight from our classroom instead of taking our lunch break with the others. Mr. Aizawa's orders. Togata stood with us too, tall and broad as ever even underneath his yellow jacket with a checkered hem, deep red overcoat and matching checkered scarf. Dark grey pants covered his legs, paired with a neutral sneaker. I knew his situation wasn't ideal, but damn I wished I could wear whatever I wanted, too.

Eri, no surprise, stood beside Mirio, clinging to his pants. He was the one who she usually clung to when all three of us came. I didn't blame her - he was the first person to show her kindness and love. In her eyes, he was the ultimate hero.

But Eri, dressed in a blush jumper, brown skirt, warm stockings and white slip on shoes, didn't look happy at all despite our presence. For one other person had joined us, and I wasn't exactly impressed he was here, either.

'It's the bad guy,' she said, eyes bulging wide with fear. 'Oh no.'

Monoma let out an hysterical laugh at her statement that sounded borderline crazy. I rolled my eyes with displeasure. You're not helping your case, buddy.

'What is this foolish child saying?' Monoma said after he'd calm down, his casual smugness slipping over every word effortlessly, infecting them.

Togata, All Might bless him, remained calm as he raised a finger to interject. 'Oh, I told her that UA has its bad parts and that you represented one of its downsides.'

Midoriya and I shared a look that practically shouted, Did he really just say that aloud? The gaul of this man...

The overly-confident blond simply waved his hand in a nonchalant manner, as if dismissing the comment. 'I'm sorry. I'm a man who follows the path of peace and justice. How dare you malign me, sir!'

'Quit it, Monoma,' I said, walking around the boys to get to Eri. 'You're scaring her.' I bent down and she immediately jumped into my arms, burying her face in my shoulder. I lowered my voice to a whisper as I used one hand to pet down her hair. 'You're okay, Eri. He's not going to hurt you.'

Confused, Midoriya turned to Togata. 'Do you have any idea why he was asked to come here?'

Before the golden boy could reply, soft footsteps upon brick cut in, drawing all our attention to Mr. Aizawa walking towards us.

'Ah, Midoirya. Togata,' he started, his gaze then trailing to me still holding Eri. 'L/N, too. Sorry to borrow your time. There was something that I wanted to ask Monoma to do, but after thinking about their personalities, I wasn't sure they'd mesh well.'

'No kidding,' I said, standing up with Eri still in my arms. After hearing Mr. Aizawa, she'd turned around to see him, a sense of relief from the sight washing over from her to me. She really trusted our teacher.

Monoma's too-wide of smile returned as he stepped closer to my homeroom teacher. 'Well, I love to hear that you've thinking about me, teach. Hahahahahahah.'

Midoriya and I, once again, shared a look of disbelief. Was this guy for real?

But my curiosity outweighed my annoyance. Just this time. 'What did you want to try, Mr. Aizawa?' I asked, readjusting Eri on my hip.

My teacher simply gestured behind me to the Faculty dorm entrance. 'Let's go inside first. Then we can discuss.'

We all nodded and quickly made our way inside the teacher's housing. It looked no different to our dorm, if I was being honest. Maybe a tad tidier? Okay, it was much tidier than our common area, barely a speck of dust on the floor, the dining tables, the windows as we walked through to the couches.
