"What? Are you stupid? Most people would be honoured to be my betrothed and bare my children."

What the fuck did that prick say. 'Betrothed!' 'Bare his children!' How dare he have the audacity to say such heinous things to MY Queen. I swear, I'm going to kill him, even if it's the last thing I do!

(A/N: Yes. Indeed, you will. He will never be able to give his children to anyone.)

"That's it, you misogynistic bastard! If you say one more thing, I'm going to slice your head from your shoulders." She said drawing her blade. Jasmine stood up at this point, not liking the direction where this was going. She showed some disgust at the blond-haired boy, which was rare for her, and led Amber, Sylvie and Airies to a different spot.

He tried to follow them, but was stopped by their piercing gazes. They had both drawn their weapons at this point, and was pointing them towards him. He broke out in a cold sweat and walked away while clicking his tongue.

"*Tch* Whatever... You're not that special anyway." Is he being serious right now? Her beauty surpasses both the Princesses of this continent, both who have been regarded as the pride of their Kingdom.

"Ha! You were lucky to even get a glimpse of me. You really though you of all people could come after me. I would rather die than go out with short tempered, arrogant, spoiled brat like you! You'll be lucky if you find a woman who'd willingly want to be with you." She started walking away, but abruptly stopped and looked at him from the corner of her eye. "Annoy me again... And you won't live long enough to tell the tale."

They sat down and she smiled at me warmly and gave me a wave. I let out a relieved sigh focused back on my opponent. Kaspian looked at our exchange and blinked a couple of times to wrap his head around what happened. Then a look of realisation appeared on his face and he started chuckling.

"So, that's what's been distracting you. Now that that's over, I hope you can concentrate on our battle wholeheartedly from now on." I nodded and we resumed our match.

In the I ended up showing my fire and using internal lightning after being backed into a corner by Kaspian's Wind Bullets, which also got me the rank of B-Class, the same as Amber. Of course, we probably could have both gotten A-Class or even AA-Class had we actually tried, but we didn't want to bring about too much attention towards ourselves. I could have gotten A-Class, but that might mean Amber might not be able to enter the same dungeons as us in the future, which will be troublesome.

Afterwards, I made my way towards the reception area to get our adventuring cards. The same receptionist as before, Mary, handed me my bronze-coloured cards. From E-class to B-class, the card was a copper colour, while starting from A-class, it would change to silver, then gold for AA class, then white for S class. The others had already gone without me, probably trying to get away from Lucas as soon as possible.

I looked around for a bit before seeing them sitting down at a bench. They saw me as well and started to walk towards me, and I, them.

"What took you so long?" Amber said with a sly grin. I rolled my eyes at her remark before remembering what Kaspian said to Jasmine.

"Jasmine... Are you close to Kaspian Bladeheart? You seemed to know each other." I asked after putting away my card. She seemed uncomfortable for a bit, which was caught by Amber.

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to. We won't force you."

"No. It's alright. I don't know him very well, but he's an acquaintance of my... father." The way she paused before saying 'father' made me think that their relationship wasn't the best. Amber also noticed this and decided to change the subject.
