Gray's Pov

'What's with her. Getting mad over a little tease. What happened last night that was.......'

Flashback

"It's so dark" I hear her mumble under her breath. I roll my eyes lighting a torch, "huh who turned on the lights" I see her look around like an idiot. "I did, you're not scared of the dark anymore are you" I begin to tease smirking at the remark. "I'm not scared of the d-" I hear her say but didn't finish as she gasps. Bringing her hands to cover her eyes "Why are you half naked where are your clothes"! I hear her say as I look down quickly "HUH!" 'I swear I had clothes on'. I needed to head back to the room rushing foward I crashed with her. "Ah", "ow" the torch I held fell as I opened my eyes catching myself from the fall I look down to see her removing her hands from her eyes looking at me. Her eyes shake and I can feel mine too. I look at her lips a bit parted from shock they look soft. 'What am I thinking.' Thoughts rush in my head and I'm frozen. Keeping eye contact I see her eyes shut and I snap out of it. I push myself up beginning to walk away "I'm sorry" I say as she stutters her words she runs off.

End of Flashback

Following everyone into the woods I see her turn to see me walking behind her. She quickly walks to the other side of the group.'That bottom feeder she bumped into me I should be avoiding her' I'm annoyed about to follow her but the growl from earlier got louder we all stop to cover our ears.

End of Gray's Pov

I hear Lucy scream. "I think its angry you guys" Wendy shrieks as she hugs Lucy. "We should split up" We turn to hear Rouge say. "Are you out of your mind that thing can be anywhere" Lucy says not having it. "I agree with Rouge we would cover more ground" I say hoping to get away. "We're in a big enough group I suppose teams are reasonable" Erza chimes in. "Very well...Lucy, Wendy, natsu take the left, myself and Rouge will take the middle, Sting, Grey, y/n take the right."I crack hearing her point at each of us.

'Just my luck'.

"What about us" Lector raises his paw. "You exceeds will search from the air if you see anything you can find us no problem" Erza says. "Easy enough" Rio says taking to the sky. "Be careful y/n" Happy says following him. "What about me"? Natsu sounds offended. "If you see the monster take it out" Erza summons a sword rushing foward with Rouge behind her. "You guys take care of my sister if there's a scratch on her I'll burn you alive" Natsu threatens before leaving in his direction with Lucy and Wendy shedding tears following.
"Let's go y/n" Sting turns in the direction we're supposed to head in as I run to catch up. After a few minutes we slowed our pace, "Dammit how hard can a monster be to find" I say in a pant beginning to walk. "Dont tell me you're giving up" I hear Frosty say but don't pay any mind to him. "Tch" is all I hear. As footsteps approach me I'm grabbed by my shoulder turning me to face him "what's with you" I look at him but turn away feeling my face get red. "Nothing" I let out. "Then why can't you look at me y/n" he moves his head infront of my face and I look away again.
   "Look at me y/n" he tightens his grip and I wince.

'Dammit what's his problem'

"I-" is all I manage to say before he's pushed off. I look to see Sting. "Dont touch me" Grey glares. "Then don't touch her" Sting answers. Grey takes a step forward "this has nothing to do with you" he says. "I don't care she looked uncomfortable man" Sting steps foward too. They face eachother as silence fills the air. "Forget it! we have a mission" I say grabbing stings shoulder. But they don't budge.

    Till I hear my name "Y/N BEHIND YOU" I look up to see Rio then turn to see a monster pushing through the trees. We jump out of the way as it pounces towards us. "That was close" I move the hair from my face. I see Sting begin to attack it as I rush towards it as well. "Water Dragon-" I begin but it's tail comes out of no where. "Y/n!" Sting yells as Grey turns. Everything slows down as I exhale the gasp I took in.

'I can't dodge it'

Seeing the tail about to crush me my eyes widen at the sight. I suddenly feel hands wrap around my wais tackling me away. The crushing weight of the monsters tail hits the ground nearly missing me. Letting out a grunt hitting the ground I look to see Natsu. "Dammit I thought I told you guys to take care of y/n!" He gets up quickly after we hit the ground.
The shock fades quickly. "I'm fine Natsu I can handle myself" I say standing up as well. But he doesn't listen rushing back in the battle. I roll my eyes, looking to see Lucy and Wendy run up to me. "Are you ok y/n" Lucy worries. "I'm fine" I say getting a bit annoyed. Rushing back in the battle I leap above the monster "Water Dragon ROARRRR" hitting its back I hear it screech as Rio swoops in to catch me from falling. Looking at everyone attacking it separately I notice some thing "Wait a minute" I say.

"Rio take me down" I say quickly as he listens. "HOLD YOUR FIRE" I yell catching my footing after Rio dropped me. Everyone listens seeing me run towards the giant monster. "Y/n what are you doing!" I hear Sting question. Facing infront of the monster I put out my hands, trying to gain its trust. "Easy" I say but it doesn't listen using its tail once again trying to hit me, this time I dodge. "Whoah" I let out jumping over it. "That's it" I hear Natsu. "No stop Natsu! This monster isn't a monster its a rare animal." I say trying to calm it again. "Animal?! That thing!" I hear Lucy and Happy in sync.

"Shes right" Erza puts away her sword. Seeing I mean no harm the animal lets me get closer. I see its paw in pain from a poison dart. I look to see it shake as I walk towards it. Grabbing the weapon I pull it out quickly, as the creature roars in pain as I cover my ears. Reacting to me pulling out the dart it swings its other arm hitting me away. I quickly make an x with my arms though the impact sent me flying back. "Argh" I let out. Luckily I'm caught side ways by Rouge. "Are you alright" he says holding me so I don't hit the ground. I catch my footing "I've been hit a lot worse I'm fine". The others circle in as the animal is more friendly now. "Wendy heal the animal with your magic!" I yell at her. "Right!" She says approaching the animal. With Natsu behind her.
I

take a closer look at the dart. "Y/n" I hear Erza walk up. "I'm sure you caught on...Erza" I say side eyeing her. She nods. "Are we missing something here" Lector lets out. "This animal is not a monster its a very rare species found in remote places definitely far away from here" I say. "Whats it doing way out here then" Happy chimes in. "Hunters" I say turning with the dart in hand.

Clients Place

"Hey boss, if we wanted the animal dead couldn't we have just killed it ourselves" says a lacky. "You fool we would've been killed by that thing in minutes, might as well let some wizzard take care of it then us" says a bearded man drinking his beer.
"Haha you're so smart boss" says another lucky before the door to their place is blown in launching men to the other side of the room. "What the-" Starts the bearded man standing up in shock. "Who dares" he continues. "Oh crap it's the wizzards boss" says a lacky beginning to hide behind him. "Seeing as you have no remorse for a defenseless animal I shouldn't think to show you mercy" Erza steps foward with a darken face. "Oh yea im all fired up" Natsu says hitting the palm of his hand.
Waiting outside hearing the screams of the hunters pain we smile.
"I'll have them arrested and have someone from our guild escort this animal back to its home" Sting says reassuring everyone. The situation is wrapped up as we all head back to Sabertooth's guild, but questions are still asked, "Oh by the way y/n how did you know the animal was being hunted" Wendy says what everyone was thinking. They all turn to hear my answer, I begin "when I was traveling I came across a dock with all different types of animals in cages. Some more then others. Thought I look around see why they're in cages, it was then I heard they were being bought and sold in auctions to highest bidder. I freed as much animals I could that day-."
I stop sounding disappointed.
"well the important thing is you helped and today you realized something we didn't keeping us from making a grand mistake well done y/n" Erza says reassuring me I smile at her words to cheer me up. They worked.
