"Mmmm, Kazuki!" I mumble, still asleep. "Kazuki!" I say jolting up. My head stings as I grab it. Realizing I'm awake, I look around. "Where am i?" I say, looking around till I see Natsu asleep at the end of my bed. I tap him as he jolts up "Who-" with flames in his fist. "Whoa, calm down," I say, putting my hands up in defense. "Y/n, you're awake!" He wraps his arms around me so tight. "I.... can't breathe... Natsu." I manage to say as he lets go shouting for Wendy.
   The others rush in with Happy in tears. Rio flies ahead. "You're okay!" He embraces me "yea im ok. " I pat his head, smiling down at him. "You had us worried." Lucy rushes and embraces me as well. "Y/n, do you know who attacked you?" Erza cuts the reunion short. "No....they had no face just two arms and a mouth their bodies I don't know what they were made out of...... but they regenerate, and they're fast. " I look up. "They sound familiar," Says Mira. "Last thing I remember is running out of stamina and getting knocked out by one of those things after that it's kind of a blur," I say, gripping the sheets.     
   "You held your own as long as you could, longer than I would have, that's for sure," Warren says. "It wasn't enough, though," I say under my breath. Natsu blinks with a sigh he understands, "Alright, everyone, get out! My sisters gotta rest, " he says, pushing everyone out. "You must be hungry. I'll get you some food," Mira offers, leaving after Natsu. But Erza's still here. "I'd keep an eye out y/n those creatures were definitely sent to end you. They got the drop on you when you least expected it, so don't put yourself down over it. Grey said you held up a fight till you were pushed to a corner. " I look up at her words.
     "What?" I question. "Grey saved you after the enemy failed to drown you. You should thank him when you have the chance," she says before walking out the room. "Rest well," and with that, she shuts the door. It was too much to take in, so I decided to lay back down drifting away. I fell asleep.

5 Months Later

    "Did you hear y/n some magical forests are beginning to rot?" says Lucy, holding up a news article. "That's weird....all of a sudden," I say, eating an apple on my bed flipping through Sorcerer Weekly. Till we hear bangs at the door. "Crap rents due today," she scrambles. "Moneys in the drawer," I remind her as she grabs it, giving it to the land lord. After closing the door, she sighs in relief. "Good thing we took that job on Mt. Hakobe, " she continues. "Rio, are you done yet?" I yell as he comes out the steamy bathroom with a towel around his waist. "Geez, you're more high maintenance than us girls," Lucy begins to argue.
    "You can never be too clean," he says as I roll my eyes. "Alright, I'm heading to the guild you guys  coming?"  Lucy asks before walking out. "I'll go." Rio flies next to her. "Y/n?" She waits for my reply. "I'll go later. I gotta run a few errands tell Natsu we'll train later," I tell her as she nods, leaving with Rio.

'Guess I better start on those errands'

I roll myself out of bed after moving my scarf from my neck to above my shoulder. Cleaning the necklace Mizu gave me im out the door with bags in hand.

   'After the attack, it never really happened again. Eventually, I thanked that icy idiot but he definitely isn't the easiest person to get along with. I settled in fine going on jobs knowing everyones name by heart. Still, these dreams I sometimes have I can never remember them' 

Lost in thought after returning what I needed to in stores, a little girl bumps into me. Luckily, I caught her in time before she hit the ground. "Are you ok?" I ask before noticing bruises on her. "Do you need help?" I kneel down in front of her.
    She doesn't talk but looks scared. "HEY! STOP RIGHT THERE!" I turn to see men running toward us looking back. The little girl was gone. I look around me in frantic, searching for the girl. I look behind me and see her continuing to run away. Something within me prompts me to chase after her, and I have to get to her before they do. It's a chase, and with her in view ahead of me, I pick up my speed to catch up. Focusing on the girl, I don't look to see what could be in front of her. I suddenly see her bump into an all to irritating face. That icy weirdo catches her right before she falls. "Whoah?" he says. "You shouldn't run on a busy street. You could fall." I hear him say as I slow down, stopping in front of them.
