Matt's POV
I don't even know how to describe it. Mello kissed me. Does it mean that he loves me?
This is how everything happened.
We were at the park, listening to music. I was thinking about my dream, then I imagined us kissing again but in real life. I looked at Mello and he quickly looked away. 'Was he staring at me this whole time?' Then he suddenly grabbed my hand and kissed me! I immediately blushed and kissed him back. It was amazing... My heart was jumping wildly and I had a weird feeling in my stomach. An awesome feeling actually. Even thinking about that gives me butterflies. After what felt like forever we stopped kissing. I smiled but Mello's face was red like a beetroot. He looked at the ground and started biting his nails. I wanted to tell how much I liked the kiss and how much I loved him but when I was about to open my mouth to speak, he got up and ran away. I don't remember what happened after that. The only thing I remember is that I felt really guilty. 'Did I do something bad? Did he not like it?'
Mello's POV
I had a terrible desire to hit my head against a wall... Shit, shiiiit! I was standing in the middle of nowhere. 'I'm such an idiot'.
I went back to Wammy's and decided to write a letter. 'Maybe that will help me to express my feelings without being scared'.
I didn't want to give the letter to Matt, so when I finished writing it, I hid the letter under my textbook. 'I'll tell him everything tomorrow'.
