Mike and El walk towards each other and he sighs in relief as they hug.

"I called you. I called you everyday for—"

"Three hundred fifty three days. I heard," El interrupts him.

"Then why didn't you answer?" Mike seems a little hurt as he pulls back to look at her.

"Because I wouldn't let her," Hopper says, stepping forward, "What the hell is this, where have you been?" he asks El.

"Where have you been?!" she sasses back.

He puts his arms around her and hugs her, kissing the top of her head.

"You've been hiding her? You've been hiding her this whole time!" Mike shoves Hopper

"Hey! Let's talk about this. Alone," Hopper scolds him and they walk into another room.

El turns to me, "Y/N/N."

"Hi, honey," I say with a smile.

I pull away from Steve and El walks into a hug.

I hold the girl tightly to me and she relaxes in my arms.

"Mom," I hear her whisper with a silly smile.

She opens one of her arms to Steve and he comes into the hug.

When we pull away I duck down to be level with her, "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" I ask, gently wiping the blood from under her nose.

"I'm okay," she answers.

"Good. That's good."

She goes around the room, saying hi to everyone that she hasn't seen for almost a year.

Max tries to introduce herself, but El walks past her and back to me, asking, "Can I see him?"

My mom and I lead her into Will's bedroom, where he is in his bed, still in a drug-induced coma.

The three of us kneel down by his side.

"He isn't doing too well," mom says.

"I know," El responds, "I saw."

"What else did you see?" I ask her.

She looks between me and Will, staying silent.

We bring her to the dining room table, where my Morse code translation is.

"You opened this gate before, right?" I ask, tapping on the words 'close gate'.

"Yes," she whispers.

"Do you think if we got you back there, you could close it?" I continue.

The rest of the group comes up behind us.

El looks me dead in the eye and slowly nods.
