Vegeta X Reader | Singularity

Time passed. We gained a dragon ball from Guru given to Krillin and reunited with Bulma! We were at a random piece of land near a cave which contained one of Bulma's capsule houses. I caught up with her a lot with my whereabouts during all this and she was so mortified for me. Gohan was looking for more dragon balls and hasn't came back yet according to Bulma.

Me and Krillin were stunned for a second feeling a really strong power level. "Oh no- A huge power level... coming right for us!" Krillin, Bulma and I were analysing the sky and areas around us. "Stop your worrying! It's just Gohan!" Bulma gave a soft smile. "No! It's not Gohan." Krillin answered firmly. We heard a sudden swoosh from the sky.

"It's- Vegeta!" All three of us yelled on sync. Vegeta came down to our level, his armour was a lot more damaged from the last time we were together, which... I'd rather not dwell on.

"Well the surprises just don't stop do they?" He glared at the dragon ball then me. "I found a couple of Earthlings far from home with no one around to save them." He snickered at me inferring I couldn't fight for them. "And it appears you have just what I'm looking for. Hand over the Dragon Ball or die! Come on, don't do anything stupid just hand it over. And I wouldn't want to escape with it either because if you tried something like that the snivelling girl behind you will suffer the consequences." Vegeta gave an evil smile. Bulma shaking terrified, none of us said a word, I furrowed my brows at the threat towards Bulma. "Now hand over that ball."

As soon as Vegeta finished, Zarbon shot down, obviously had been following him. "Looks like we have company." I looked up at Zarbon after Vegeta's comment. My god how I don't miss this army. Zarbon laughed at the sight of me and Vegeta. Bulma caught a crush, she thought Zarbon was attractive and here to save us. Only if she knew what he can do. Vegeta and Zarbon stood facing one another. They had a back and fourth bicker and I just wanted them to get on with it.

"Vegeta, did you really think that you could escape me for long?"

"Heh."

"Ah, another dragon ball? How nice of you to track it down for me. Don't tell me you've joined forced with them, especially you Y/N. Frieza wants to see you as soon as possible as it is." I winced back, 'Why does he want to see me so bad?!'.

"Hehe! Thank you... for rescuing me!" Bulma began to overwhelm herself over Zarbon

"Tsk, Idiot" Vegeta laughed at her naïve comment.

"Those two don't concern me. All I want to know is what you did with the rest of the Dragon Balls. You can either tell me, or you can tell Frieza, your choice."

"Trying to make me talk?"

"With pleasure." Zarbon laughed.

"Well? Get on with your little transformation then. You know perfectly well you can't possibly defeat me unless you change into that hideous  creature."

"Alright. Now you've done it. No one insults me like that Vegeta. For someone who looks like you, you have no right to call me hideous. No offense to your taste in men Y/N." He sneakily pipped into the conversation. I was taken a back by insinuating I like Vegeta romantically. "I'll kill you where you stand, but Frieza wants to take you alive, consider yourself lucky." Zarbon continued.

"Heh, the only thing I'm going to consider is how much pain I make you endure, before I end your pathetic little life. Come on, lets go 'ugly'." Vegeta was obviously trying to set Zarbon off. I didn't know if it was to show off or get a good fight, or both. However it didn't take long for Zarbon to launch at him.

"My hero..." Bulma stared in awe. "It's our chance! Lets run!" Krillin looked at me and Bulma. "But he said he'd kill us if we tried to escape!" Bulma freaked out. "We'll be dead anyways if we don't get out of here come on!" Krillin responded. "Bulma! We need to go!" I encouraged and Krillin grabbed her arm.

"Going somewhere?" Vegeta shot blasts at the area ahead se we couldn't escape.

"Oh well, looks like were stuck here."

"God's sake!" I gave Vegeta a black look and he just grinned at me. However his battle with Zarbon continued. 'Vegeta really knows how to use his charm'.

Zarbon had enough an transformed. Bulma, finally looked like she was about to vomit. "He changed into a monster?!"

After some time, us three had to watch Zarbon and Vegeta fight until Vegeta finally put an end to it with a blast through Zarbon. Vegeta has been ruthless since we got here. I could tell that Dodoria wasn't his only Victim since I've been gone. Vegeta took pride in Zarbon's defeat. "Heh, once I have all the Dragon Balls, I will be the one to defeat Frieza. Alone." He turned to face me. "Well. Now that we've taken care of that little problem, the four of us have unfinished business to attend to. I sense that you're quite a bit stronger now than you were back on Earth, but you're still no match for me. Hand it over now." His focus turns to Krillin with the Dragon Ball.

"No way! I'm not giving up that easy Vegeta. You just try and take it from me, we'll see what happens." Vegeta laughed at Krillin's statement. "Then we're back where we started. Hand over that Dragon Ball right now, or the girl beside you will pay for your actions." Referring to Bulma once again, it was beginning to become a little repetitive. "Please don't hurt her."

"Don't worry, I don't think you'll be around long enough to see what happens to her..." He responds to Krillin. "Hand it over or you both die."

"Here." Krillin pushes him the ball and me and Bulma are in shock. "Krillin, what are you doing-" I reach my hand out slightly to gesture to stop.

"The last dragon ball is finally in my possession. Now that all that remains is calling fourth the dragon then wish for immortality then become the supreme ruler of the universe! And Freiza will die..." he lets out a laugh while facing my direction. His mood switches completely especially from the recent fallout, this wasn't unusual. He gave me one last glimpse then looks away, flying off, disappearing in a matter of seconds. Bulma basically faints as I hold her back from hitting the ground completely. "Gohan needs that ball quick. We need to make sure Vegeta doesn't get to him first." I jump and blast off away from Krillin and Bulma.
"Y/N! Wait!" Krillin's voice faded quickly as I sped off to Gohans direction.
