HawkFrost x reader

W/n yawned as she opened her eyes to dark sky, grey clouds loomed over and covered the sun. Wasn't the best weather for her kits to become apprentices...

As if they sensed her thinking about them, her kits were suddenly awake and jumping on top of their mother.

Or maybe it was because it was their apprentice ceremony.

"I can't believe it!" WrenKit squeaked in excitement, her blue eyes shining brightly like how her father's used to.

Her two brothers, FinchKit and SparrowKit, where just as excited as her. W/n shook her head and chuckled at her kits.

She remembered when she told the news to HawkFrost, he was very excited to meet them but didn't have much time due to him being leader.

StarlingWing was always looking after his younger siblings, and MinnowTail even helped too. RobinFlight however wasn't impressed when he heard the news of the new siblings...

"Let all cats old enough to swim the currents, gather at the wet rock for a clan meeting!" HawkStar could be heard outside.

W/n quickly groomed her kits and then they sped off, the she-cat followed them before sitting with AppleHeart.

"We have three new kits ready to become apprentices!" HawkStar said loudly so that even the prey cold here. "FinchKit, WrenKit and SparrowKit, step forwards."

The three kits made there way to the front, tails high and chests puffed out proudly, as if they were the most important because of their dad.

"Until you've earn your warrior names you'll be known as FinchPaw, WrenPaw and SparrowPaw." HawkStar nodded, he then looked around the clearing, "AppleHeart, SneezeCloud and MallowNose you'll be the mentors to these powerful apprentices."

AppleHeart touched noses with FinchPaw, SneezeCloud booped WrenPaw and MallowNose pressed noses with SparrowPaw.

The clan then cheered for the new apprentices and quickly dismissed. W/n looked at each cat, she remembered how HollowFlight, TroutStream, MossyFoot and RushTail all became warriors three moons ago.

RabbitSpring and MapleWhisker were sharing prey with IceWing and GreyMist, they too got their warrior names, only a moon ago and had adapted to clan life her in RiverClan.

AppleHeart would always tell HareSpring about his kits, and W/n is sure that her kits realise their father is in another clan.

"The patrols!" She squeaked to herself once she realised that it was once again her job, OwlFlight had taken her place when she was baring her second litter so she almost forgot.

"Alright...gather round for patrols," W/n called, every cat approached her. "StarlingWing, MinnowTail, BeetleWhisker and TroutStream will go on the dawn patrol."

StarlingWing looked excitedly at MinnowTail, who batted her eyes at him and purred. It made W/n smile from how close they had grown.

"And for the hunting patrols, one will have MossyFoot, HollowFlight and TansyWhisper, the other will have MapleWhisker, IceWing and GrassPelt."

Each cat then got into their groups and headed off, the rest of the clan stayed in clan and shared tongues.

W/n smiled to herself, feeling proud of her clan. HawkStar then stood beside her, a smile on his face. "Our clan thrives under our leadership!"
