I was walking around, being a smaller creator since I returned from the Army, and was just looking at the cool stuff I could get here. I go towards a vendor for some food and spot another vendor with some guys goofing off in the line for tacos. I give up on wanting a hotdog and go in the line right behind them. "Oi, Gaege where did you get the lanyard?" "Where you buy anime merch." "Well no shit! But you found Nezuko!" "It was the last one!" "¡Estos idiotas no entienden que el cordón más importante es el que tiene Toga!" I started laughing and a smooth voice like honey but a little gravely spoke, "Eddie look, understand no one knows your language but my military ass will take you down if you insulted Nezuko." Like honey bunches.... "He said the most important lanyard is Toga." I say and the five men turn to look at me.
"Holy shit you speak spanish and rat me out to these Nezuko simps?!" "She is a content creator, look at her badge." "Hey, I am YT/N (YouTube Name). It's nice to meet y'all." I say holding my hand out. The hispanic is the first to reach over and shake my hand. "My name is Eduardo, but call me Eddie." When he lets go the smaller one with big blue eyes shakes my hand and says, "I'm Josh, JoshDub on YouTube." I nod and smile before he lets go and a more hefty one grabs my hand and shakes it. "My name is Mully, and that right there is Gaege or known as Juicy." He says pointing at a slightly shorter guy, that will forever look like a floridian man. "I can introduce myself you know!" He says before Eddie started laughing. Then the voice that sounded familiar spoke up again. "Hey, I'm Narrator, or Grant-" "Grant? Like Grant Williams?" I ask. (A/N I gave him a last name, if we ever get his actual last name it'll change. Same with Eddie.) "I haven't told anyone my last name, the internet doesn't even..."
"Well, Scout. I know we haven't seen each other in two years but thanks... Feels absolutely amazing to be forgotten, Grant." "Y/N? I thought you were going for two more years-" The rest of his sentence went muffled and I put up one finger to pause him. I grab the hearing aid from my ear and sigh. The battery died... Just my luck. I flip my bag from my back to in front of me so I can grab a new battery. Once the battery was switched and I put it back nothing was muffled anymore. "Sorry. An incident happened after Grant left the army and I ended needing this stupid thing. What were you saying?" I say, smiling a bit more, trying not to be embarrassed that it just died like that. "I was asking if you were ok.. but I guess that has an answer now. So what all happened after I left?" Grant asks and the others are all looking dumbfounded.
"Well, that's a story for when I am drunk." I say with a smug smile. "Now if you don't move forward I will skip the line." I say, Eddie immediately turns around to grab some tacos. We all managed to get some tacos and we ended up eating together. "So how long have you known Grant?" "Since high school. My parents had gotten a better job opportunity in California so we moved there. I was a Junior he was a Senior. We went to Prom together as friends and everyone in the ROTC program thought we were dating." I say finishing my last taco. "Excepto que desearía que fuéramos... (Except I wish we were...)" I say and Eddie whips his head towards me and I quickly say, "Eddie, confío en que no le dirás eso a nadie. (Eddie, I trust you won't tell anyone that.)" He nods and goes back to his final taco. "O te encontraré y te mataré. (Or I will find you and kill you.)" His eyes widened and he nodded finishing his Taco.
"After that she graduated with my class cause she took her senior classes with her junior classes, like Hermione with the time turner. We were in the same squad, she decided to stay longer." Grant finished. "Shoot, my panel is in fifteen minutes." I say looking at my phone. "I thought you were a small content creator? How do you have a panel?" "I have 100,000 subscribers. I was invited to do a panel and I accepted." I say, smiling. I get up and throw away my trash, I wave to the creators I met and Grant follows me as I walk to my panel section. "Hey, Y/N. I know we lost contact but my number hasn't changed if you want to do a video with my friends and I." "I think you should ask your friends first and understand who you are gonna be recording with first. But you and your friends can gladly come to watch my panel." I say and I look at him as he nods. I continue walking to my panel where I sat with a few people I did videos with including Naysy, ThrillSeeker, GabbyGotGames VR, FlashyKlau, and Nathie. We all sat there and kept saying, "Hello," as people filled up the room.
"Hello and welcome to our panel!" I say, the microphone traveling my voice across the jam packed room causing many conversations to die down. "How many of you are excited to be here?" I ask hearing a lot of cheers. "We are going to answer at least 20 questions each before we show you a skit we made in VR and plan to post to each of our channels in three days that y'all have special powers to see before everyone else, so we would really appreciate y'all not recording the skit. We will have two attendants walking around with microphones. Those who have a question will have their hand up and each of us will choose 20 people even if they don't have a question for ourselves." I say and look towards Gabby who then continues, "On the backdrop will be a tally of how many questions each of us have answered. Keep it somewhat PG there are some kids here. And let the games begin, raise your hands!"
The hands immediately started raising. Naysy was the first to look for a fan. And he chose a guy that asked Gabby, "Are you dating anyone, Gabby?" "Yes I am. I am currently in a relationship with EddieVR." Gabby then chose. "YT/N, do you have any pets?" "Yes, I have a pet dog named, Max. He is a German Shepherd and Siberian Husky mix. Uhmm.. Here is a photo." I pull up a photo of him on my phone and he is wearing his service vest. The backdrop behind us quickly changes to the camera recording our panel and the live feed goes to the backdrop behind us.

"He is not only my companion and friend, but also my service dog. I was in the military for those who don't watch me but know me through their channels. I can not hear or see from my right side. The convention couldn't let me bring him even though he is trained for personal reasons but everything is fine. You in the purple shirt." I say choosing someone in front of me. "Flashy, when will we get a Sonic the Hedgehog playthrough?"
It was down to my final question and Nathie ended up choosing who asked my last question. "YT/N, will you record with The Boys, and be a full-time member? Even though you aren't a guy we will count you as an honorary guy for the channel." The smallest of Grant's friends asked. I put my hand under my chin, pretending to weigh out my options. "Hmmm.. Good question... Should I? I mean are y'all sure? My content shows I am crazy." I ask back and they say, "Have you seen our content?" I look at them and shake my head, "Not really. But I guess we can play a few highlights. If I'm not wrong we are ahead of schedule aren't we, ThrillSeeker?" He nods and the crew in charge of the backdrop pulled up a highlight video made by their fans.
"Well how can I say no after that?" I say and the room erupts into cheers and clapping. I deepen my voice and sound like Morgan Freeman as I say, "Now, now.. We still have a skit prepared so if you please watch the screen behind us and quiet down, we would have the utmost appreciation. Thank you." The lights in the room dimmer as us six go off to behind the backdrop and each go in a room and dress up as our favorite VR character we play as. I am now in a VR/C (VR Costume) and have a fake nerf ak in hand. As soon as we heard our cue we went on set and we performed the skit we made on VR in real life.
When the skit was done we all got off backstage and changed back. We head back out to our stations for meet and greets and Grant and his friends were first in line. "So how is this gonna work, boys?" I ask since I am now part of their team. "We have a paper with all of our discord and numbers on it for your eyes only, they get leaked you are done." Josh says handing me a piece of paper. "Nice I guess I'll see y'all later huh?" "Yep, talk to you later, Y/N." Grant says as they go back to the lanyard stand.

There is the end of the second chapter, if you want to give me ideas I am going off of dated videos and small stuff on my end. I plan for this to go somewhat factual details but a bit more funnier. I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
