"Yo little C!" Trent yelled at the girl, jogging up to match her pace.

After the little breakdown the girl had this morning, she did everything she can to avoid a certain boy. Even looking at him would break her down. It was hard since they had English class together. Thankfully, Eddie and Lily were also in that class so she didn't have to face him alone. 

"Hey Trent." Carly smiled at the curly hair boy.

"Guess what today is."

The girl thought about it. Did she miss something? Until it hit her. "Oh happy birthday Trent."

Trent smiled and pulled the girl into a hug, lifting her off the ground and spinning her around. Carly chuckled. Leave it to Trent to always cheer her on. "Aww little C, you remembered."

Carly patted the boy to put her down. "Put me down Trent."

Trent put the girl down. "Yo look, my girlfriend Eleanor is throwing an insane rager for me tonight. You're invited obviously."

"I'll be there Trent."

"You're the bomb little C. Just cause you and Paxton aren't together anymore doesn't mean I don't like you."

Carly chuckled. "Good to know Trent." Trent smiled. He couldn't help it. He was feeling extra loved today. "Save me a dance?"

Trent shook his head. "No can do little C. I'm loyal to Eleanor."

"Trent I'm asking for a dance, not to have sex with you."

"I know you've always wanted this body." Trent said, gesturing to his body.

Carly rolled her eyes. "On second thought, no dance for you."

"But it's my birthday." Trent pouted.

Carly forgot how confusing this boy was. One minute he could be wanting this, and the next, he wanted something different. She wondered how Eleanor deals with him. They were the last people the girl thought would get together. It was an odd pairing but hey if junior year taught her anything it's that the weirdest pairing can happen.
