'*•.¸♡ DEV BALL, BUT IT'S CONRAD'S POV ♡¸.•*'

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ CONRAD ˏˋ°•*⁀➷

I remember telling myself many times before that I was never going to do this again. With Nicole a year before, it was a nightmare, and I promised myself I wouldn't go through that again. But Adds has always been my weak spot, and I knew that if she asked me, I would agree.

And that was the best decision I've ever made. Seeing her in that white dress, looking at me with her bright smile and with... love. It was the way I had always dreamed she would look at me, but never thought it was possible. She has gone through hell with me this past summer. I've treated her poorly, but only to protect myself. I can't lose her, not her.

"Conrad Fisher escorting Addison Conklin," that lady's voice brings me back to reality, and I start walking in her direction, realizing once again that making this decision, having her, is the best decision I have made. It has always been Adds, and it will always be her.

I walk in her direction, wanting to close the distance between us, wanting her in my arms. Once we are right in front of each other, I give her a smile before extending my arm so she can grab it. I can feel her taking a deep breath before we start walking.

When it was time for the dance, I stood up and took Add's hand, leading her to where we needed to be.

"You look beautiful," I said. I had wanted to say those words since I first saw her, but I didn't find a moment where we could be alone. I put my hand on her lower back, pulling her closer to me.

"Thanks. And you look hot. The suit looks good on you," she said, making me laugh. But we were interrupted by the music that had just started.

"Remember when we used to dance?" I said, reminiscing about those days when I was confused about my feelings. I wanted to continue talking to her because I loved her voice.

"Yeah, you weren't a good dancer," she joked, and I rolled my eyes in response.

"Shut up, I actually taught you, you dumbass."

"Yeah, I know. That's why I don't know how to dance."

"Right now, you are dancing and doing it pretty good."

"Nah, I don't think so. Maybe we don't know how to dance so we look good in each other's eyes."

God, that's why I loved this girl.
