As the year goes by, it goes without saying that Endzone have faced some of their biggest successes. It was definitely a packed year as Endzone introduced 10 new members to the equation, new units and have announced plans to expand even more in the future.
After the latest success with the hit songs "Sticker" and "Favorite (Vampire)" performed by the well-established members from Endzone, now called Endzone 016 as a fixed unit for the original 11 boys who put the brand on top, Endzone moves now to a bigger, if not the biggest, project.
Following in the footsteps of last year's Endzone 2020 project and similars, Endzone now prepares themselves for Endzone 2021.
This time, a full album will be released featuring participations from all 21 current members. The album is expected to contain 13 songs from various genres and different line-ups.
It has been slightly controversial the new addition of members but at this point, most have already accepted the changes and look forward to the future of the group. Now, there are even those who are demanding an explanation as to why most new members haven't yet properly debuted, but all those demands would soon come to an end with the announcement of the new album, Universe.
Finally, it is more concrete. The new full album, Universe, will be released on December 14.
Furthermore, the album's title track "Universe (Let's Play Ball)" will be released on December 10.
It is confirmed that the album will feature 6 songs under the Endzone name, meaning different line-ups for each of those 6 songs, 1 song by Endzone G, 1 song by Endzone M, 1 song by Endzone C, 1 song by Endzone Rap, 2 songs by Endzone Vocal and a song who will also receive a music video later performed by Endzone 2021 (all current members).
SM Entertainment announced the 9-member lineup for the title track that will be promoted, "Universe (Let's Play Ball)":
Chihun, Haeseong, Insung, Joonki, Snap, Sungho, Sunwoo, Taewoo and Wiz.
