"Oh how lovely! It seems to be doing so well!" The nurse exclaimed as the ultrasound faded onto the screen.

"Oh my god." Riley mumbled with her hand tightly clutched onto Sam's who was just as nervous. Both his hands pressing on her's as his whole body shook in the moment, he gulped and looked at Riley who was staring at the screen intently.

"Do you see it?" The nurse asked.

"No but I'm sure it's really pretty." Riley muttered and the Nurse chuckled.

Meanwhile, all of Riley's lovely friends along with their respective lovers were waiting outside the hospital rooms and resting on the identical chairs outside. Louis and Divs were sitting together of course, both of them mumbling inside each other's ears and giggling with an occasional kiss on the cheek. They had at this point, earned countless glares from a small girl and her snobbish mother sitting across from them, but chose to not mind the soundless brats.

Tom and Y/n were sitting a few rows behind them with his head resting on her lap and his legs spreading across two other chairs. Y/n hummed as she stroked his hair and Tom, from the looks of it had dozed off.

May and Timmy were currently driving to the hospital, apparently to rent a car to take everyone out afterwards to an ice cream shop. The gang, excluding Tom since he was with his friends, last time had all met up at the beach on a fun day out. Though that was a disaster since no one was able to fit in Zendaya's tiny wagon car.

Speaking of Zendaya, both her and Sauce were nowhere to be seen. Probably gone off to explore the hospital together holding hands or to make out in one of the empty rooms.

"Hey can you stop that?" The little girl snapped at Louis and Divs.

The two of them looked at her, Divs raised her eyebrows and Louis gulped.

"Or what?" Divs snapped back and the little girl narrowed her eyes.

"Or I'll get you kicked out, my father is the head of this hospital." The bratty eight year old hissed back and Divs rolled her eyes.

"And my father is King Julian-" She stood up and the girl's mother was now giving her a nasty look.

"Let's go divs." Louis said panicking slightly and hastily holding her hands. The two of them walked to where Y/n and Tom were and sat down next to them.

"What do you think is happening in there?" Y/n asked quietly while running her fingers through Tom's hair and turning to Divs.

"Don't know."

On the other hand, the nurse struggled to explain to the young couple where exactly their child was.

"Right here, where my finger is." She pointed at the screen and both of their hearts gave a jolt once they saw it. They were no longer looking at the walls of the ultrasound or the other random things inside Riley's body, they were now looking straight at the baby.

What seemed like a dash of light, now seemed to be the head of the baby. It was small, slightly larger than what it had been a month ago. It's body was growing, slowly and peacefully inside. There was another large similar round ray of light which was likely to be the chest and stomach of the baby. There were small dots everywhere, shiny and light, which they knew were the arms and the feet of the baby.

"It's beautiful." Sam breathed with both of their faces looking at the screen. Riley's hand tightened around his and Sam gently stroke her skin with the back of his hand. This was getting surreal day by day, they had no idea how they had come so far.
