*One night, at Bokusaku's college dorm (they're roommates)*

Bokuto: Oh my family used to take me out for ice-cream every Friday ever since I was little.

Sakusa: That must've been nice.

Bokuto: What? They never took you out for ice cream?

*And so, Sakusa vents to Bokuto about his abusive household*

Bokuto: Oh I'm so sorry, Sakkun. Do you want a hug? It's okay if you don't want to, though. No pressure.

Sakusa: A hug?

Bokuto: Yeah.

Sakusa: That would be nice.

*Bokuto hugs Sakusa*

Bokuto: Now, let's take you to an ice-cream parlour.

Sakusa: Oh, there's no need, really-

Bokuto: The place is really sanitary and they all wear gloves and masks, you don't have to worry.

*Sakusa, smiling*: Thank you.

Bokuto: Anytime!

*They start going to the ice-cream parlour every Friday night after that*

*One Friday night, at the ice-cream parlour*

Bokuto: Hello. I will get chocolate in a cone.

Sakusa: And I'll get mint chocolate chip in a cup, please.

*The ice-cream guy gives Sakusa his ice-cream in a cone*

Bokuto: Didn't you ask for that in a cup?

Sakusa: Yeah. It's fine, though. Don't worry about it.

Bokuto: No.

Sakusa: Bo, don't-

Bokuto: Hi, I'm sorry, but he asked for a cup. [guys he asked for no pickles]

*The ice-cream guy glares at Sakusa*

*Sakusa hides behind Bokuto*

Bokuto: Hey, what're you glaring at him for? You did your job wrong, correct it and apologise.

*The ice-cream guy corrects his mistake and apologises*

Sakusa: Don't ever stop being my friend.

*Sakusa, in the living room, standing on the couch*

Bokuto: Hey Omi, what happened?

Sakusa: Nothing. I just like standing on the couch.

Bokuto: Where's the bug?

Sakusa: On my bed.

Bokuto: Uh-huh. I'll be back in a minute, and then we can change your sheets, ok?

Sakusa: You're the best.

*After Bokuto graduates*

Bokuto: Y'know, you should come to MSBY after you graduate. That way we'll be in the same team!

Sakusa: I'll think about it.

*A year later, MSBY team*

Sakusa: Hello, everyone. My name is Sakusa Kiyoomi.

Atsumu: Welcome, Sakusa-kun!

*Bokuto hugs Sakusa*

Atsumu: Bokkun, Sakusa-kun doesn't like physical to-

*Sakusa hugs Bokuto back*

Bokuto: Welcome Omi! Oh I knew you'd come!

Sakusa: How could I resist being on the same team as you?

Bokuto: Ugh I missed you!

*Sakusa, smiling*: I missed you too.

*MSBY 4 hanging out*

Hinata: Yeah! So I said-

*Sakusa, jumping on Bokuto's lap*

Bokuto: Where is it?

Sakusa: I don't know, but it was crawling up my leg.

Bokuto: You have to let me go for me to kill it, Omi.

*Sakusa lets go of Bokuto*

Bokuto: Ah. It looks like the same species with the one on your bed that one time.

Sakusa: Don't even remind me.

Bokuto: Hahaha. I remember you were just standing on the couch.

Sakusa: It was huge, Kou.

Bokuto: No it wasn't.

Sakusa: Well, it made a weird sound.

Bokuto: Back when we were roommates at college, there was this huge bug on-

Sakusa: We both studied neurology, actually.

Bokuto: Yeah. Our parents wanted us to go, y'know, in case our volleyball careers didn't work out.

Atsumu: And you were roommates??!?!??!

Sakusa: Yeah. That's why we're such close friends.

Hinata: I just thought you two were dating.
