In which maybe just maybe kevin doesn't like her better 

Third Person Pov 

"Eyes green or grey can't remember but i bet you know the color of heathers" Doug sings laying in his bed. It had been 3 weeks since the incident and the two hadn't talked more the avoiding coming from doug's end. His heart couldn't take being to close to the other male who he sadly still had feelings for. 

Kevin however missed his best friend more than he can put into words. It got so bad that he started comparing his girlfriend to doug every second. He felt like he was losing his mind and ended up breaking up with her. The breakup was a mutual thing nothing messy luckily. Kevin needed his best friend and he was going to talk to him.

Kevin found himself using a pin to open doug's door he knows this is breaking and entering but he needed to see doug. Doug heard some noise downstairs and grabbed his piece from under his pillow. He came downstairs shocked to see kevin his heart started beating fast something it always did around him. 

"What are you doing?" Doug asks and kevin sighs. "I need to talk to you" Kevin says and doug sighs. "There's nothing to talk about ok i like you but you don't-" Doug starts before he was interrupted. "I broke up with her" Kevin says shocking doug. "What?" Doug asks and kevin sighs. "I broke up with her because there was something else on my mind" Kevin says. 

"Doug your my best friend and i love you more than anyone else. It pained me when you started avoiding me and when you went to camrin instead of me. Word to my dead i wouldn't ever judge how you felt if you had came to me i would have been shocked like i was but you didn't wait for my response" Kevin says, 

"What are you saying?" Doug asks. "I'm saying i don't want us to be just friends anymore" Kevin says before pressing his lips against doug's. I guess he wasn't the forgotten day in December after all.
