I'm just going to put notes at the top of the chapters now and a preview at the bottom, but anyways, good news, Im on break. ALSO THANKS FOR WAITING FOR ME TO GET A CHARGER LMAO 1k reads bonus chapter coming later tonight ;)

Side note, I should probably put in the Kiamei and all that basically canon stuff, huh? Except I don't know how to go about it because Elysia is here now and she is like one of those friends that flirts with you all the time but homosexual and I'm sobbing about it.

___

"Who's Kevin?" Kiana eyed her, the white-haired girl expressed interest. That look of alienation left her when she asked. Elysia, however, was at a loss. She guessed it was the white-haired man that she had seen in her flashes but didn't know exactly who he was. She could only infer about him, "an... an old friend"

'is that what he was?' she thought. They looked similar to the point she thought Kiana was perhaps his descendant. His features carried over to the girl as if it were his own daughter. Hua looked to Elysia with slight surprise, she was talking about Kevin Kaslana.

'How does she know Kevin?' Hua asked herself, eyeing the pink elf in suspicion. Elysia went about the conversation without talking about it, bringing up small details of her life that she could barely remember. Those details being a mix of her life and another's. Kiana was intrigued and confused with her event recalling. The class monitor was also confused by the switching between two narratives before Elysia caught herself. She took note of this.

Fu Hua checked the time. They still had a bit before she had to get back to her 'class monitor' duties. She had to cut this short and get Elysia to her temporary room. Hua shifted her focus from the pink woman to the white-haired enigma of a person.

"Kiana, I meant sooner rather than later" The girl in question looked at Hua with a pout, "But innchou!" she complained before Elysia jumped in.

"Come now, Kiana-Chan! We can talk some more later," the elf suggested, smiling at the pouting girl, who now looked reluctant to accept this answer. Kiana looked a little sad before seemingly noticing someone across the courtyard and ran off happily, seemingly forgetting about the previous feeling just before that moment.

Hua then continued with her tour, knowing full well she'd have two people to report to by the end of this troubling situation.

___

Elysia entered her room. It was quite spacious, actually thought it might've been because it was unfurnished, save for a few utilities. The walls were a light beige that met a white rim at the bottom, and the smooth wood-tiled floor stretched throughout the room. The sun was setting, casting a beautiful golden glow on the room. Elysia could see the dust in the air, fluttering around, dancing in the light.

The elf walked through the dorm, poking her head into the bathroom and into her new bedroom. Elysia decided to at least wash up before getting into her bed. It wasn't an accurate statement. She was avoiding sleeping. She didn't want to fall asleep, fearful of meeting that darkness that would surely greet her once more as an eternal sleep, an eternal hell in her eyes. She splashed water on her face before stepping back out of the room, staring at the bed like it was some sort of evil entity.

She settled for the couch, deciding that she'd rather avoid the suffocating feeling of blankets atop her figure, a mattress that felt like she was back in the hospital. She sat down on the cushion, the events of the day finally catching up to her. She rested her head on the arm of the chair, staring at the wall in an unsure way. Her eyelids drooped down before she drifted into a deep sleep, hoping this time she would wake up normally instead of falling out of the sky.

___

A subtle beeping sounded in the room, along with the soft crying of a younger woman calling for her friend's company. Ellie felt conflicted, helpless and confused. confined to a bed that weighed down on her, she could only listen, and listen was what she did.
