Elysia danced around the empty courtyard for a reason unknown to even herself, an unfinished dance, Missing its other half. A ghost of the past, all too familiar to Ellie as she moved in the cool night air.
One familiar feeling that she could not recall the cause of.
___
Kiana sat in a classroom, watching as chalk met a blackboard in pretty letters. The ambient noise of the pencil on paper and note-taking filled the room as she looked to her side. A purple-haired beauty met her gaze, knowing eyes looking back at her.
"Mei-senpai." she stated, an unasked question still reaching the purple woman. "If that's what you want, Kiana."
Beside the red-headed teacher, at the front of the class, sat a pink-haired girl, humming while listening to her now colleague, Himeko. She was alluring, the small pointed ears just barely peaking out from her hair, the blue eyes that hid a dash of pink in them, and her bubbly attitude. Kiana couldn't help her gaze drifting off to her on several occasions, and Mei had always noticed, always.
Mei had always watched along with her, shifting her gaze from Kiana to Elysia once she had noticed. Yes, she was captivating, and if Kiana wanted this, she would accept it with open arms. Having interacted with the girl several times, her flirty remarks and actions made it easy to figure out what had made Kiana like this.
Mei admittedly was a little jealous of the attention on the white-haired girl, but as soon as Ellie noticed, she'd shift over to Mei within a heartbeat. The attention throwing the Raiden off guard. Once she had gotten used to her way of speaking, her genuine actions always shun through when she was talking, and Mei didn't mind the flirty nature much after. Even if a red still tinted her face after a quick conversation with her.
The other side of the room was no different. Fu Hua had been eyeing the elf, ignoring the lesson despite herself. Ellie had seemed to notice, looking over to Hua with a smile, the girl in question seemingly almost melting into her seat in response. A light red dusted her cheeks as she looked away, earning a small giggle from across the room.
Himeko looked to Elysia with a question, the reason for the giggle she would probably never learn of the true cause behind it.
___
They all had watched her, Elysia, dance throughout the moonlit courtyard. Dancing with a blurred silhouette, gold, red and black mixed in with her pink, purple, and white. Through transparent colours, could they see Elysia, a sombre smile graced her face as she followed the woman in front of her. As the two came to a stop, the ghost reached out to touch Elysia's cheek like it was the last time she would. "my sweet Ellie, the stage is yours now."
"Eden," the elf said reluctantly, gently gripping the hand that rested on her cheek. "Till we meet again."
Eden turned to face the small group that followed them there, giving one final bow before seemingly being swept away by the wind with a smile.
