I flattened out the wrinkles on my skirt and adjusted my ponytail before walking downstairs. The clicking of my heels announced my arrival and Adrian immediately looked up as I entered the dining room.
"Good morning," He greeted and I handed him a courteous smile.
"Good morning," I chirped back as I took my seat at the dining table.
The maid walked in and placed my breakfast in front of me and I gave her a grateful smile. I grabbed my silverware and began eating the fruit mixed with oats.
"My mother should be here shortly," Adrian announced and I nodded.
Today, I would be going with Mrs. McKeller and Gabby to choose the bridesmaid dresses. Not so long after the mansion doorbell rang throughout the house. The butler walked in with Mrs. McKeller and Gabby right behind him.
"Jane!" They both greeted with frank smiles on their faces. I hugged each of them and returned the smile.
"I'm so excited," Gabby stated, her excitement radiated through her baby blue eyes.
"Mom, please take care of my bride to be." Adrian stated as he walked over to me and kissed my cheek. "And do not overwhelm her."
"I'm offended," Mrs. McKeller replied and I couldn't help but laugh. "But, I promise to bring her back in one piece."
"I'll see you later today," I told Adrian and he cupped my cheek in his hand and stroked it gently.
"I'll miss you," he whispered before kissing my lips slowly. I knew he was just doing it for show, but his kiss made me turn into jelly. "I love you, beautiful."
"I love you, handsome," I replied and he smiled down at me. He pecked my lips one more time.
"Alright, let's go lovebirds." Gabby said interrupting the moment and I just laughed.
"Have you decided on a color yet?" Mrs. McKeller asked and I nodded.
"A blush pink." I said and Gabby squealed.
"That's going to look so cute." She gushed.
Charles opened the door of the limousine and I was the first to step in. As soon as I stepped in, I was attacked by two pairs of arms. I looked up and found my two best friends.
"Did you miss us?" Marshall asked.
"Yes!" I replied as I hugged them again.
"We couldn't go buy the dresses without the other bridesmaids." Mrs. McKeller said as she stepped into the limousine after Gabby.
"Thank you." I mouthed and she nodded with a smile.
"Let's go choose these bridesmaid dresses." Gabby said as she popped open a champagne bottle.

The limousine came to a slow outside of the famous Anastasia boutique. Charles opened the door for us and we each stepped out.
"Ah, can you believe this?" Sara asked as she interlocked our arms. "You're about to get married."
"The first one of us to get married," Marshall gushed and Sara squealed.
The whole wedding planning was exciting, but I wasn't as fully excited as other brides are about their wedding day. After all, this was just a charade, that would end soon.
