another hectic day. jake lazily dragged his feet to the door with casual outfit, just a pair of jeans and hoodie and his bags. it is time for him to work. he bids goodbyes to his roomates and left the apartment.

the restaurant jake works at isnt far from here. maybe a kilometre away from his apartment, takes about 10-12 minites of walking ?
as soon as he reach, he changed and start his afternoon shift shich ends late at night.

of course, he obviously deal with some rude customers. there was once that a customer threw a glass of water on him because the desserts were not up to their expectations.
another time was when the food tasted bland and the customer spit at his face. it was a normal routine for jake now. getting treated like garbage.

he sigh and took deep breaths before serving.

3 hours passed and there were now fewer customers than before. the restaurant were less busy and jake could finally relax for a moment. as the doors opened, jake smiles.

"hello ! welcome to–" he paused as his eyes met the one and only annoying man, lee heeseung.

heeseung was with a lady, assuming his mother.

"table for two please, thank you." heeseung smirks. jake mentally cursed to himself. he forced a smile and guided them to a table near the window and gave then the menu.

out of all people, why does he have to be here? god have mercy on me please.

jake shooked his head and smiles. he takes out his note pad and a pen, ready to take their orders.

"i'll get orange juice and carbonara pasta bacon please. what about you mom ?" heeseung asked.

"avocado smoothie and spaghetti bolognese please ?" his mom smiles at jake warmly. jake smiled and nodded.

"oh, we'll like to have 1 waffle ice cream, chocolate flavour please later," heeseung spoke, glancing at jake up and down.

jake showed no reaction and left.

so he works here ? this is fun.

time passed by and heeseung kept annoying jake by asking stupid things like "can i get a new pair of utensils ?". "why is the pasta so creamy ?". "the orange juice doesnt taste fresh, please make a new one right away." and more.

idiot getting on my nerves. i hope i wont see him again. hes pissing the hell out of me.

it was now 10pm and his shift ended. thank god he didnt had to see heeseung again today. it was awful enough with all the stupid questions and demands.

"i hope i change school."

"why ?" jungwon asked.

"heeseung is everywhere, i hate it!" jake whined, punching the pillow. he hates heeseung. of course there is a reason why to it. not just because of education.

he looked at jungwon and riki who are just staring at him.

"if you hate him so much, why dont you just ignore him ? act like he doesnt exist ?" riki suggested. sunoo agreed as he ate his ice cream.

"and why are you eating ice cream before dinner ? thats illegal." jungwon add on as he stared at sunoo with disgusted. mint chocolate....

jake thought about it for a moment. it wouldnt hurt obviously since he doesnt give a shit about anything that's relevant to heeseung. maybe just the grading..

"look at this picture ! jungwon is SO cute !!" jay exclaimed happily as he showed heeseung and sunghoon the pictures. they were at heeseung's place to have their boys night as per usual.

"bro, stop simping. i get it hes cute, please dont show anymore, i feel too single right now." sunghoon rolled his eyes.

"shut up penguin ass bitch, you have your sunshine sunoo." heeseung laughed together with jay while sunghoon became all flustered and shy.
then, suddenly, everyone stopped laughing as both jay and sunghoon stare at heeseung.

"what about you?" jay ask.

"what do you mean ?" heeseung spoke, looking confuse.

"you know... you and jake." sunghoon elaborate. heeseung was shock for his life. what the ? why would they ask about jake ? they know that he doesn't like him since hes so annoying.

"dont act stupid, youve been talking about jake." jay roll his eyes. sunghoon nodded, agreeing.

"idiots, i dont like him. dont get the wrong idea. hes someone i cant handle." heeseung spoke, playfully punching both his friends shoulder.

"also, found out jake works at the restaurant near our dormitory. shocking ?" heeseung add on as he play his phone. he wonder why. maybe he just wanted to be independent. he sigh and scrolled through his instagram, only happen to see one of riki post of him, sunoo, jungwon and jake.

in the post, sunoo was eating his favourite ice cream toothpaste flavour, jungwon was trying to throw his pillow at riki from behind since riki was taking a selfie post and theres jake, staring in blank space as he rest his cheek on his right palm.

heeseung must admit, jake does look cute. he bit his tounge, trying not to smile. he roll his eyes and continued scrolling.

"stop thinking about jake, heeseung."
