"wow... another day, another slay," sunoo spoke.

"that was random," jungwon glance at him and make that judge-y look on sunoo.

"more like, another day another HELL." jake sigh as soon as he spot heeseung and his group of friends chatting by the hall way. its been three days since he last saw heeseung at the restaurant.

"cmon jake, im sure its not that bad!" sunoo reassured him.  jake only look at him and sigh again. first class is with heeseung, second too!

"hope hes not so annoying today."

"just remember to ignore him like what riki said !" jungwon spoke.

"yes," riki, out of nowhere, stood beside sunoo and agree.

"you'll be the reason why i have a heart attack." sunoo said with a hint of annoyance and sarcasm.

jake is now in the class, at the back of the class, he sat by the window. first class is bio, the worst! not really... personally, chem and physics are the worst ones.

"jake." the teacher called. jake looks at the teacher and glance at the clock, its been 20 minutes since the class started. thats when jake realises he wasnt listening.

"ive been calling your name for 3 times. have you been day dreaming ? where is my work ? did you do it ?" teacher bombed him with questions. jake knew he did the homework. he search through his bag thoroughly and nothing.

"sorry sir... i may have forgotten to pack it in my bag."

the teacher said nothing but a sigh of disappointment.

moving on, it is now english class. the teacher came in and a stack of papers. probably something related to project or just extra work.

"okay class ! there'll be a pair work to do, more like a presentation! i've alrdy assigned to your partners so if theres something youre unhappy about, please approach me privately." the teacher smiles while some of the students were groaning.

jake, at the back of the row with jungwon, is now praying to the universe that he wont get heeseung as his partner.

"relax jake! you probably wont get heeseu–"

"–jake and heeseung,"

"nevermind. wishing you the best. may god and our mother and sunoo's and riki's and sunghoon's and jay's and heeseung's help your journey." jungwon chuckled nervously.

"this gotta be the worst day ever!"

"oh yeah, you have detention for an hour today because you didnt submit your work. forgot to pass you the detention slip. here," jungwon said casually with a hint of calm-ness in his tone and pass jake the slip.

"this is more than a worst day."

time passed by so fast, jake wasnt able to approach his english teacher regarding the partnering so he had to suck it up for the next 3 weeks. and whats worst is the topic given.

talking about our own partner. and theres no way ! that jake has to talk about heeseung. what happened to ignoring him ? maybe the world is too cruel for him.

"whatever, its just 3 weeks. it wouldnt be that bad." jake sigh and sat down on the bench with his tray of food. as jake was waiting for his friends, someone tap on his shoulder.

this perfume.... oh no.

jake turn around and met eyes with heeseung who was kneeling to get his eye level the same as jake's. too close.

"what do you want." jake ask rudely and scoff. at the same time, his cheeks were tinted red as of how close heeseung face was. he felt his warm breath.

"look i dont have time. so if you have nothing to say, please kindly get the fuck out of my fa–"

"jake, give me your phone." heeseung speaks casually. jake furrows his eyebrow and handed heeseung his phone. he watch as the older type something down and called it which causes the older phone to ring.

"we'll start to project today." heeseung gave back his phone.

"but i have detention..." jake look away, feeling embarrassed.

"dont worry, i'll wait." heeseung smile and left.

and the moment heeseung smiled, jake heart was beating rapidly and felt weird to his stomach. he ignore the fact and look at his phone.

"he really named his contact as handsome guy... what a narcissist.." jake rolled his eyes.

"hey jake, sorry for the wait. the queue today is so long!" sunoo sigh, wiping his sweat off of his forehead. jungwon nodded along with riki.

"i see you and heeseung are friends now. saw you guys talking," riki said out of the blue, causing jake to choke on his food.

"wow really ?" sunoo smirks.

"what happened to ignoring him ?" jungwon laughed.

"shut up, its just about the project... nothing more !" jake defend.
and all of three younger kids continued talking about jake and heeseung. its true that jake and heeseung look good together.

but obviously, heeseung is someone jake cant handle.

"god forgot about detention..." jake groan in frustration and drag his feet to the detention room. he gave the teacher the slip and sat inside.

one thing jake hates about detention is that there is no fan. the only fan he have is the wind blowing from the open window and its really humid in the room. the teacher will lock the room until his detention is over. he cant do anything but only read books and reflect his mistake.

as he sits down, he didnt realise the other boy in the room. he didnt care, he just want time to past by ASAP! he read the book quietly. he enjoys the silence. its very peaceful and calm.

as jake read, he happened to notice the boy moving and sat right next to him.

"hey shorty," he spoke. jake immediately knew who it was.

"heeseung ?" he spoke and had his eyes wide open as he look at him.
