Atallie nodded. "Alright. I will just be here and walk around. Just look for me when you're done," she said, waving Lizbeth away.

"I understand, it will not take long, Your Grace." Lizbeth bowed and quickly made her way towards the opposite direction where the rare flowers were.

Left on her own, Atallie saw a nearby lake and turned her feet to that direction. She passed by the rows of green and luscious trees with thick leaves that were great for providing shade. She also saw several fruit bearing trees.

Before she knew it, she was already on the outermost part of the garden.

She finally reached the lake and was mesmerized by its crystal clear glimmer as the afternoon rays of the sun were reflected on it. She could even clearly see her own reflection when she stood in front of it.

This place is really not bad.

Atallie thought.

She was looking over the lake and the blooming lilies, lotus and kinds of hortensia on it when she heard footsteps coming from behind.

When Atallie turned, she blinked and was slightly shocked.

"You're here," she said.

The man, who had just walked over, and who was just about to pass by, suddenly stopped in his tracks.

When the man looked up with a bewildered expression on his stunning and bright face, Atallie realized something as she blinked once again.

Damn.

She dissed herself.

"This lady, do you know who I am?" The man politely asked. Though there was no smile on his face, his expression was slightly cold yet it was also gentle.

"I apologize, I thought it was my companion walking over. Before I knew it, I already spoke out of... habit," Atallie said.

"Oh... a habit?" the man asked with a slight frown, as if thinking of something.

Atallie thought that he might be displeased with the sudden disturbance that she had caused.

"I apologize, I didn't mean to –" Atallie was just about to speak of her apology when the man blinked his yellow eyes and cut her off.

"There is no need to apologize, milady. It was nothing," the man said. This time, there was a stiff yet small smile on his lips. Though his expression remained reserved, the small smile added a certain charisma to the man's aura.

Safe to say, he was truly charismatic and with the gentle yet a bit of coldness that he exuded, it was something distinct.

Atallie, while gazing at his charismatic and stunning face, was almost lost in her thoughts.

But before she could even let herself get caught, she blinked once again.

"Then, I bid you goodbye," Atallie curtly said. And with that, she gracefully lifted her skirt and dashed away, leaving the man without turning back.

The man, who had just been bid goodbye just like that, was left speechless.

Isn't the lady too straightforward?

She didn't even bother anymore after I dismissed her apology.

The afternoon rays shone down on his yellow hair, making it appear as if glittering strands of golden silk, and on his bright yellow eyes was the image of the petite lady walking away from him.

As Atallie walked away from the man, the man, left alone just like that, seemed to be in a trance as his deep yellow eyes remained gazing at Atallie's back.
