Too Hard - Cobra Kai x Reader

The first qualifying I had I had won easily. I gained my first point by getting her in the stomach and then my second punching her in the back.

The second match wasn't as easy. The girl I was fighting was really determined and it was a close 2-3 match. She mainly used offense but once I caught her off guard she crumbled.

With every match I won, the girl seemed to get more angry. We luckily haven't fought yet. As I watched my other teammates compete, I could see her in the corner of my eye winning her match. And she was damn good.

The qualifying matches were over and the cobra Kai members who qualified had to stand in a formation while the announcer called it out.

"Alright folks! We've witness some great fighting today! But you ain't see nothing yet... because we have arrived to the quarter finals!" The crowed cheer loudly as the announcer laughed. "Things are about to get intense. Of the 8 boys and 8 girls in this stage, one of each will be named All Valley champion. And then we'll tally all the points to determine which dojo has earned the title of Grand Champion!"

This time, instead of multiple matches going on at the same time, we instead do it one by one in front of everybody. Cobra Kai was in the lead, I had no worry on if our dojo was making it. I was worried if I would be the one who takes the title.

First female match was with Tory and the new girl from Eagle fang. Tory had easily defeated her, taking away all chances of Eagle Fang winning the female division.

The second match I payed attention to was Eli and Kyler. Eli seemed anxious at first, but after he talked with moon his confidence easily boosted and he managed to beat Kyler with ease. Kyler stormed off the mat and mumbled under his breathe.

"This is stupid" Kyler sighed

"Shouldn't of been so cocky" I replied "You always have to be alert, no matter if you think it's an easy game or not"

"Sh*t... that's deep" Kyler said. I smiled and turned back to watch the fights. Sam and Piper were up next, I clearly cheered as I loud as I could for Piper and Sam just gave me a quick glance.

Piper got the first point 5 seconds into it. Piper then said something to hopefully distract Sam but it backfired and Sam got determined, and won the match after gaining 3 points straight.

The fight after them was Robby and Kenny. I unfortunately couldn't watch because I went back into the infirmary to return the ice. When I got back Robby had kicked Kenny in the face. Kenny stormed off and Robby was left clearly shocked at what he'd done. Robby tried to go after Kenny but I stopped him. "Let him cool off" I sighed

Robby have a worried glance at the direction Kenny went to and nodded his head.

"Next up! Y/N L/N and Cassie Bennett!" I looked over to see that I was up against her. I gulped and got on the stage. After the bows, we took our stance.

"Ready?... and... Fight!" The ref exclaimed. almost automatically Cassie threw a punch which I managed to dodge. I then kicked which she also dodged. I threw another kick which Cassie dodge again. Then Cassie tried for a kick. I quickly grabbed Cassie's leg under my arm and tugged forward which cause her to fall. I then quickly punched her. "Point L/N!"

She got up and she fixed her Gi, we took our stance again.

Cassie again, threw the first punch. I dodged it and threw a kick. She grabbed my leg and threw me back but I didn't fall I just stumbled. She spun around and kicked me right in my cheekbone. In the impact my face turned and I dropped to my knees.

I quickly got up and knew this wasn't going to be easy. I cracked my knuckles and got into my stance. This time I threw the first kick. She ducked to dodge and swiped under my leg kid kick. She went in for a punch but I rolled over and she got the mat. The second she stood up I flipped and landed a kick on her cheek.

She growled as she stood up. She looked over at Richard before looking back at me. She smiled and we started.

We went back and fourth going for a hit and then blocking it. Cassie had thrown a kick but I blocked it last second. The ref called it out as a non point. I walked back to my spot and I heard a growl as a sharp pain stung my bad ankle. I turned around just to see Cassie kick the knee I was once injured on and then her punched my temple.

*Miguels POV*

I was talking with Sensei about my win when I heard the audience gasp. I turned to see that Y/N's opponent had went rogue and got her badly.

The ref blew the whistle and called out illegal contact and instantly disqualified her. Kreese, Robby, and medics ran on the mat. I too tried to but stopped myself and Sensei. All we could do was watch as Y/N groaned in pain while holding on to the spots that hurt.

The girl stormed off the mat. The medics helped Y/N up and the audience cheered as she limped to the infirmary.
