Chapter 7

You bury your face in you hands while Jade picks up a nearby lotion bottle and throws it at him.

"Kay first of all fucktruck, EW! And second, keep those stupid shades on her eyes and not her breasts!" Jade yelled going close to him with a hand on her hip, and waving her finger.

You sigh and go to Dave pecking him on the lips, then turn back to Jade. "Okay, mama bear, he gets the point." You smile.

She smiles back, but then continues to shout daggers at Dave. "I swear if you hurt my best friend, I will rip your ironic little dick off, Dave Strider." She growls

He pouts,"But I thought I was your best friend."

Jade sighs and pops her hip out,"Dave, I have more than one and you know it."

He smirked," I got it Harley. We'll see you later. Just stay here like a good dog."

She grunts and throws another bottle, this time it hits his head. "JACKASS!"

He laughs his cool guy laugh and drapes an arm around you, kissing your lips. "Has anyone ever told you that you taste like vanilla?" He mumbles against your lips.

You pull back and roll your eyes opening the front door. "Let's get this over with, Strider. I have a bed waiting for me when I get back." you say gesturing outside.

"Mind if I join you?" He said whispering in your ear before walking out the door.

~Le Time Skip~

You and Dave walk out of Skaia Night Club, you pissed beyond belief and him not knowing what you were mad at.

Other than the fact that he basically ditched you, you had little to no fun. The only interesting thing that had happened was meeting your new friend Rose.

She was the club manager despite only being a senior in high school. She even went to your school and was friends with Jade.

Also, she's Dave's cousin.

While you sat down at a table waiting for Dave to get you a water, she approached you and started a conversation.

You two had a nice long talk about books and wizards before she had to return to work.

Afterwards you looked for Dave only to see him and another girl grinding on the dance floor.

You had enough of your 'date' and walked out of the club, Dave calling for you and slowly trailing behind.

Which catches up to where you are now

"(Y/N)? Where are you going" he said draping an arm over your shoulders. You push his arm off and continue to walk to his car.

"The car. I'll have more fun in there." you growl.

"You didn't have fun?" He said stopping in front of you.

You shake your head in a "duh you dumbass" kind of way. "I don't know if you've noticed this about me, but I'm not that type. Sure I love music and dancing but....." you trail off shaking your head.

"But what?"

"Nothing, can you just take me home?" You say trying to walk past him only to have him grab your arm gently.

"Hey at least let me redeem myself." he smirks, holding out his elbow for you to take.

You look at it skeptically. "Common (Y/N) I don't bite. Plus we can walk to the place I'm taking you." he said giving a little smile.

You smile softly and take his arm.

~Another Time Skip Cause I Am Lazy~

You and Dave come to stop at a huge field with flowers and beautiful trees. Fireflies danced through the air and lit up like stars come to earth.

You sigh in wonder and look up at the blue, orange, and pink sky caused by the setting sun, only a few stars peeking out behind scattered little clouds.

"This is so beautiful Dave!" You gasp

"What you thought the club was our date? You know me better than that [nickname]!" He smiled, genuinely this time.

You giggle and tackle him, sending you both backwards into the flowers. You snuggled into his chin and closed your eyes.

You then prop yourself up on your elbows and tilt your head a bit, looking at Dave's glasses.

"What?" He says putting his arms behind his head.

You reach for his shades and he flinches away. "In all the time I've known you, I've never seen your eyes." you say sadly

"That's cause your ovaries will explode and the pure striderness of them will make you cry real jesus tears." He smirks. You weren't buying it. You sat up and straddled him.

"Please?" you say, reaching for them again, only this time he let you slide them off.

You were then met with the most beautiful pair of red eyes, not brown or hazel, pure candy red, you have ever seen in your entire life. You saw all of his emotions, Worry, lust, enchantment.....and guilt?

You smile genuinely and place your head back in the crook of his neck. "Their beautiful. I love your eyes." you said placing your hands on his chest.

You felt him relax and wrap both arms around you, sighing in bliss.

Before you could stop it, you said the thing that you have been wanting to say to him since you were twelve.

"I love you Dave."

You process what you said and shot up blushing like crazy. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to say that! I shouldn't have said that!" You frantically say starting to walk off to find a private place for you to die of embarrassment.

Before you could though, Dave's arms slid around your waist, his lips only inches from yours. "I love you too." he whispered closing the space between you two.

He didn't know why and how....but he knew he wasn't lying.
