Chapter 2 Meet The Catilyn.

Keith's POV

The team is on the green lion cloaked, and Pidge lands the lion a safe distance away from the base. We sneak up on the base and Shiro cuts hole in the base big enough for us to fit. Sentries spot us and a fight breaks out, Hunk rapid fires at the Galra sentries but some of the lasers go through the wall and an explosion happens.

"Hunk what did you do?" I shouted.

"I don't know." Hunt shouts back. Pidge looks through the giant hole in the wall.

"You hit some sort of power source." Pidge then types something in on the control panel next to the glowing purple orb.

"We have about 30 minutes till it completely explodes and kills us all." she said casually.

"So let's get out of here before this thing blows." Lance said.

"We still need the data from the main computer in the control room." Shiro pitches in. We all start running to the control room destroying any sentries in our way. When we were just outside of the room there's a thud from inside, then another explosion. We all shrug but before we can walk in a lot of sentry's start shooting at us and I mean a lot. We're pined down with our shields up. Some sentry's enter the control room and the alarm goes off. I hear shooting and other movements coming from the control room. There's definitely a fight going on in there.

"Keith, Pidge, and I will cover lance and hunk while they shoot down the sentry's." Shiro explains. Lance and hunk start shooting while the rest of us keep the Galra from shooting them. Lance is shooting at the last sentry when a girl walks out from the room. The laser just barely misses her head as she stumbles back. The girl looks at us and I can't see half her face because she's wearing a bandanna. She's also wearing some kind of armor on her chest, legs, and arms. I run forward and place my sword at her throat.

"Keith!" Shiro snaps.

"She could be Galra." I snap back. The girl rolled her eyes before slapping my sword away and kicked me in the head.

"Me Galra!?! Not in a million deca-phoebe.'' She snapped. I look at her In surprise. She may be wearing a bandana but I can tell she was smirking at my surprise. I was going to say something but lasers were fired before I got the chance. The girl started running at the Galra sentries.

"Hey wait." Pidge yells. She pulled out her swords and cut the sentry's up with ease. she swung her swords in a circle with the flick of her wrist and then put them back in the holsters on her back. She looks back at us, we all have shocking written all over our faces.

"What?" she said harshly. Lance, Hunk, and Pidge flinched at her tone while me and Shiro just stood there. she chuckled at the three paladin's response. Another explosion happens and the base shakes again. But we all lost our footing including the girl. She gets back up quickly along with the rest of us and she starts to run to get out of the base. She runs past the control room when a hand grabs her throat and throws her against the wall.

"You thought you could get away that easily. You'er going back in a Galra prison shadow warrior.'' the commander says. Shiro has a shocked expression on his face. The girl kicked the commander in the gut and he let her go and stumbled back.

"No, I will never go back to Galra prison and I will never be called that name ever again." her voice was full of anger. My eyes widened at the anger and it kinda scared me. "But on the topic of prison." She grabs him by the collar and slams him against the wall, her voice still harsh.

"Where is my brother?" the commander smiles a wicked smile.

"Wouldn't you like to know."

"Yes I would, that's why I'm asking." she said annoyed.
