General POV:
"Okay, phew 'cause it would be weird if you still did you know. After we broke up for the second time?" He relaxed himself, though he quite frankly knew that her declaration surely did give him butterflies in his stomach.
"I guess that's why they always say, third time's a charm." She quietly muttered under her breath.
She sounded quite sad, probably because she knew she loved him yet she knew she couldn't because she thought that after their second time of breaking up that they would never get another chance to be back together. Her heart was craving him through a pain he'd never understand.
"Anyways, I found that story quite funny but why does Lily care about me, why is she acting so worried all of a sudden? I mean, when I was about to leave she didn't even care, but why does she choose now to care? It just doesn't make sense does it?"
Ricky went on and on, without knowing if Nini was catching along to what he was saying nor did he know if she was even listening to him ranting on about the girl he didn't even love. He knew his heart belonged to that one girl, yet he still managed to fool himself into liking Lily before.
"Am I even making any sense? I don't even know anymore." He placed his face down on the table and Nini felt so bad for him, so she stood up and comforted him. She rubbed his back and kissed his brown, curly hair, whilst whispering to him, 'It's okay, it's gonna be fine."
"Thank you Nini, for helping me. You really do mean the world to me," He continued, holding her already warm and sweaty hand.
"Uh, we should uh clean up and get going because it's uh kind of getting late, don't want to waste any more time and end up coming home at 3:00 am, am I right?"
"Yep, totally, uh let's go." He said, letting go of her warm hands. They both made their way to the exit and waved goodbye to the waiters and workers as politely as they could be.
