As her family was gone for the day she smiled to herself, enjoying her day off. She made it a priority to take it off so she can spend the day alone but with her family after they came home.
Getting off the couch she made her back into the kitchen, making some tea as she had some plans. She had to see her folks, bring them some meals she prepped for them.
She decided to get ready and change into some clothes as the water was boiling. Getting into her room she grabbed a pair of ankle length dark jeans, a turtle neck shirt and her long coat. The kettle whistled as she ran down and made her cup, she checked the time as it was now 10am. She also had a few text messages.
Sho<3: Kill me
She laughed seeing her husband text, it was literally right as class started as she knew he didn't wanna go today. She smiled and saw a text from a bit ago, she looked at the picture to see her daughter trolling her dad.
Marisol threw a ball at his head as he wasn't angry enjoy at another student. Rosie smiled a bit as she shook her head.
"She's just begging to die today.."
The last text was from her younger brother, Tamaki.
ShyBoi!: Why...Why didn't you tell me my niece is here!!!???? QAQ She has my last name too wtf. So many kids keep asking is she my sister??? Even Mirio was hurt like I didn't tell him this big secret. AAAAAAA
She sighed a bit and decided to respond to him, his anxiety is crazy high as she could tell.
ScarySis: Tamaki you'll be okay. You can say she's your niece. She is lol.
She smiled and finished her tea as she got boots on and out the door.
She started her walk into another neighbor hood as she had a bag filled with meals, it usually lasted her folks a few days as she knew they were getting older. Yes, they had Tamaki older but that was fine, he came out fine and has grown into a wonderful kid.
She felt the cold air hitting her face as she relax, her day was going fine as she thought a bit.
Her bio family had long been gone, she was adopted into a wonderful family. Her life changed a bit but they accepted her fine, her having a different culture and background they still loved and supported her.
Her long hair whipped a bit as she turned a corner as she was getting closer to her family home. It was a small two story home, the front of the house had a small dragon statue and a small garden as she walked down the small path. She unlocked the door with her key as she got inside and took her boots off.
"Mom I'm home~" Her voice was soft yet loud enough as she saw the small blue haired woman coming out the kitchen.
"Oie. I didn't know you were coming sweetie." There stood her mom, a lot older woman now in her fifties as she was about 5ft tall. Her smile was wide as she cleaned her hand on her apron, she gave the taller woman a hug as Rosie returned it.
"Yes you did mom. I have your meals for the week" She held the bag in her hand as her mother smiled and took it.
"You didn't have to do that."
"Yes I did mom. You both have done a lot for me."
"It's what a parent does"
Rosie sighed a bit as she nodded. The took walked into the kitchen as she began to unpack the food, Rosie grabbed a cup as she noticed her mom was making tea.
"Where's father?" She asked as her mom looked back at her with her vibrant brown eyes. How Tamaki didn't get them still baffles her.
"He's out right now. He was getting some things." Her voice was a big quiet as she poured the two of them tea. Rosie noticed a bit sadness behind her mom's eyes as she pat her back.
"You okay?"
"Yes dear. It's just been tough, Tamaki almost out the house. It's scary thinking about it."
Rosie smiled and let out a small sigh as she looked up. Her bangs softly swayed back as she laughed.
"Is this how I'll be later on? I know you and father need to relax. He'll be fine, and plus you two did well on the both of us." She gave her s small side hug as her mom gave a small laugh.
"Well at least we did, beside you having a child young." She elbowed her daughter in the side as Rosie leaned over a bit and groaned. " That's the only thing I will say we did fail on.But..." Her mom sipped her tea as she looked to her daughter. "But I am glad we did, maybe if we did tell you more about protection Marisol wouldn't be here."
Rosie stood straight as she looked at her a bit shocked, she remember that day too.
~Flash Back~
Rosie was 17 as she sat in the school bathroom, Nemuri had came to her rescue with a test as she was older. She gave it to her and told her she'll wait for her.
It was positive. She was 17; close to her graduation, she was working with the public safety commission, she was a teen, and she was dating Aizawa.
She softly cried into her hands as Nemuri heard her.
"Rosie...Was it..?"
"Si! Wtf am I gonna do...He wouldn't want this right???!" She softly yelled as she began to panic, her hands shook as she unlocked the stall and fell into Nemuri. The older teen grabbed her bestie as she lowered her onto the floor, her eyes filled with worry as she began to sob with her.
They both felt like it was the end for her, how can a teen keep going as a hero? How could she tell him as he wanted to leave after graduation?
As she knew this she had to pull herself together as she wiped her face.
"I have to tell him Nem... Not now but I will..." She fixed her clothes as she left the empty bathroom. They got lucky as they left the campus and Rosie went to skip the rest of the day with her.
During that day it shocked the two boys to find that Rosie never came back from lunch. Hizashi tried calling her as he was a bit worried. He bugged Aizawa a bit but didn't get a response from the sleeping teen.
Rosie had broken the new to her mom first, she was visibly upset. But the shocking part was the hug she gotten from her. Her mom was the kindness person that knew mistakes can happen, yes it was an accident but it was one she knew would change her.
~End of FlashBack~
Rosie blinked a few tears as she held onto her mom again. The older woman smiled as she gave her a bigger hug.
"I knew once you told me you'll be okay. Shota is such a sweet kid...I was happy he wanted both of you still after he learned. He's really became apart of this family." Rosie let a few tears spilled as her mom began to cry.
"And lucky me dad didn't kill me 'cause you sided with me."
"Oh sweetie he was mad too but he didn't think at that age he'll be a grandpa. Remember when you two brought her home he melted and took her the whole day."
"Even walked with her in the garden.."
"He became such a teddy bear after her. I think that also helped with Tamaki to become the kid he is now. I'm so happy we have all of you in our family." Her mom wiped her tears as she smiled.
The two enjoyed their day as they sipped tea and enjoyed each other's stories remembering the time they had. Telling stories of their family that came together from a tragic accident to the one they had now. Rosie never felt unloved ever, yes she experienced so much trauma, yes she still had so much ahead, but knowing this is the family she has with all this love and support. Nothing was gonna stop her on her path ahead.
