Growing up as an only child to two pro hero's was weird. Funny enough I can't say they weren't there. Both parents came and go as they please but they always came back to me and reminded me how much they love me. I guess they raised me right.
Marisol sat in the back of class, she heard her father teach about some hero basics. Her eyes wander to the large windows as she saw the color change for fall.
I wanna be out there, her thoughts swirled a bit as she felt a pair of eyes on her. Looking back to the front as she noticed her dad.
"Amajiki I hope on the field you don't stare off, you would be a big risk to people around you."
She placed her face into her palm as she let out a small sigh, "I'm sorry sir, I'll do better..."
Aizawa glared for a second till he went back to teaching. Facing the board as he let out a empty sigh as he tried to focus back to his class.
I wonder what she's got on her mind... His thoughts filled with his daughter as the class went by. Lunch released as his students got up.
"Amajiki please stay back..." His voice was stern as the other students looked at Marisol. She sighed a bit as she told Mina to go ahead, which gained a soft concern stare from the pink haired girl.
"I'll see you out their than..." Mina walked away with their group as the class was empty.
Marisol hair swept back as she walked towards her father.
"..Yes?"
He stared at her, eyes filled with concern as she noticed the shine in his eyes.
"Dad I'm fine...It's just boring is all..."
"That still isn't an excuse to day dream in your classes...You told us you'll take the hero courses seriously. Even if you are aware of the basic things, that doesn't mean you can not focus in your classes." He let out a sigh as he held his crossed arms firm in front of his chest, he looked up a bit as he thought for a second. He looked back down to his daughter who had a clear agitated look.
"And that means not being upset when I call it out. You promised us."
"I shouldn't be in the first year for hero courses. You all know that, it's holding me back."
"It's not holding you back. It's expanding your knowledge with other students and other techniques which you can learn from your classmates. That's not fair to say you are better than them, this behavior is uncalled for."
"Just call mom than, I'll go do some hero courses with her than!"
Aizawa was a bit taken back as she started shouting, he knew something was wrong with his daughter.
"Marisol...Be honest...What's wrong..."
".....Why do you only see me as a child, I'm not anymore..." her voice was soft as she looked to the side. Her hands gripped her skirt as she felt a bit bad for shouting, yet with her dad who was stubborn like her. She had to get loud to get her point across.
"Cause you are my child, that will never change." He released his arms as he pulled her into a hug, Marisol barrier her face into his chest as she sighed.
"I'm sorry...."
"I'm sorry as well...I know being open is hard for you..that's my fault.." Aizawa ruffled her hair a bit as he heard sniffles. He pulled back a bit and wiped the tears that streamed down her face. He smiled a bit as he placed a kiss on her head.
"Hey hey now...You know you can talk to us. Don't hold it in..."
"I'll try..But please anyway I can do other classes? I had high remarks from everyone else..."
