Art above by me aha
----Dust looked out the old, broken down house's window, staring at the snow falling. 'How long has it been... since the villagers tried getting me?' he thought, fiddling with his fingers.
It has been a few weeks, the villagers starving Dust till he came out with answers, telling them why he and the gang invaded their home.
Nightmare never came by to save him.
Dust knew Nightmare hadn't had the strongest relationship with him, but he atleast hoped Nightmare would come and get him. But the king of negativity... says otherwise.
Dust looked down to the chains holding his arms, legs, and back down. He had magic restraints along his neck, and hands. He didn't have much power, but due to these conditions, he might as well die in the cell he was kept in.
Not even the heroic Stars came by.
Dust sobbed, tears streaming down his face. His eyes weren't even normal... they had turned to a complete purple. He had lost hope, already.
Dust looked down, glaring at the cell door, hearing many locks being unlocked, before a man walked in, unlocking his cell, walking in front of him.
"Get up. Now. Today's the day, brat." The monster hissed, as it kicked Dust on his side, earning a whine from the boy. Dust slowly, but quickly got up, as the monster unlocked his chains, before grabbing Dust by the hem of his neck, Dust kicking as best as he could.
"Don't grab-- stop! Your-- hurting me!" Dust cried, as the monster dragged him outside, the villagers cheering.
"Set it on fire!"
"Get rid of the creature!"
"Set a bet on em!"
"Let me sell it!"
Dust's eyes became so small, it was impossible for him to even register his scenery. 'Help, someone- please, help.. anyone..'
The monster dropped Dust onto the ground, before grabbing his limp arm, breaking it.
Dust screamed in agony, as the villagers were seemed to be angered, wanting to do that to him instead. His tears falling onto the snow.
The monster dragged Dust to a tree, as other guards threw sticks and stones at him, making a pile around him. Dust sobbed, trying to not show fear, or any weakness, but they had already broke him. He was broken. He was gonna die by being set on fire.
'Please... be a nightmare.. a dream... please-'
He was cut off by his scream, crying, in agony, screaming for someone to help, as fire leaped around him, setting him and the trees around on fire.
The villagers cheered, whistling and gleaming.
Dust feared that his days would come to an end, but not like this. This... this was something everyone feared.
And it was the fact that he had done nothing, as he only helped scare the villagers out their homes. Nightmare and the others had enough time to get away, completely forgetting about him, until the guards caught him, standing in front of the burning homes.
Dust ended up passing out, as the guards laughed.
"Moron!"
"Shoulda kept it alive to torture it!"
"IT KILLED MY MOTHER!"
"Could of tied a bomb in his mouth!"
That was... until they all saw a purple SOUL poking out of the flames.
"..."
The SOUL pounced into the flames, the entire heart taking in all the damage. The villagers gasped, and some even screamed, as the SOUL flew back into Dust's dead body.
He was covered in ash, as he crawled out of the fire, ties around his hands being burnt, as he gasped for air, looking at the guards who stared at him with disgust, and fear.
They feared him.
Dust laughed uncontrollably, as his body was set on fire. He slowly stood up, before glaring at all the villagers.
"This... is KARMA. You... you all hurt me.... I... know what I did... was wrong... but.. this could have been.. prevented if you... SET ME FREE."
The guards didn't seem to care for his warning, as some tried to kick him down, preventing the fire from continuing but that did nothing.
Until a little girl threw a bucket of water at him, which only angered Dust even more. He panicked as the fire ended up killing him slowly...
He needed to stay in flames to survive.
He grabbed the little girl by her hand, as she screamed, crying before being burnt alive, her crisped body crashing against the snow, sizzling.
"YOU MONSTER! THAT WAS MY DAUGHTER!"
"SOMEONE CALL THE STARS! ITS GONNA KILL US ALL!"
"THROW MORE WATER AT IT!"
The villagers panicked, as Dust set everything on fire, touching every villager he could reach, laughing.
They feared him, they actually feared him!
Dust cried, as he saw the burnt bodies surrounding him. He cried and cried, for his tears to only turn into steam. He fell onto the snow, as the snow reacted by sizzling, the fire not going out, but only spreading around the town.
He watched as his hand set on fire, as he noticed his body covered in flames.
Flame...
Dust smiled weakly, his body still recovering slowly. He liked the word Flame a lot. He really did.
He turned back to look at the destroyed, on fire town, before crying again.
Flame.... flame..
Dust-- Flame continued thinking, as he turned to crawl away, back into his little shed, hiding away.
"They... they fear me. I killed-- the little girl..." Flame cried.
They hated him. They despised him. They wanted revenge.
Not even Papyrus knew what to say, but only floated near his brother.
'This is your fault. You killed them. You hurt them. '
Flame shook his head rapidly to the left to the right.
"NO! No.. no! No..." Flame grabbed his hand, jabbing at his fingers.
"Is it... really....?"
Flame stayed quiet, eyes still looking at his dry, ashy fingers.
' yes it is. '
Flame sobbed in the corner of his cell room, curling up as his arms wrapped around his knees, legs pulled up to his chest.
"I'm so sorry."
He cried silently, shaking.
