"How did I feel? What can I say? Overwhelmed? Happy? Thrilled? Honestly, I can't pinpoint the feel exactly, all I knew was that it felt good and awesome." Y.k confessed.

"Wow, it was such a pressurizing moment, how come you remained calm and unmoved through out? You were at the Frontline."

"That's true, absolutely true, I was pressured, I knew the fate of the outcomes of the game depended me on at that moment, us winning or losing was in my hands, I couldn't let the whole school down, I took a deep breath and told myself everything would be fine and the love from you all also strenghtened me, I guess that's what made us win."

"Wow! Amazing."

Ariel who had been watching from afar scoffed at this, she knew how girls could be then they swoon over a boy, meanwhile Marie has also been looking for her, Marie spotted her from the opposite direction and called out her name, both Y.k and Ariel's attention was turned towards Marie, Ariel smiled as she saw Marie approach her while Y.k searched for Ariel and found her standing few meters away from him.

"Ladies, kindly excuse me, I have to attend to an important issue, I'll be with you shortly, you won't even notice I'm gone." Y.k said politely and excused himself.

Y.k walked across the room and caught up with Ariel.

"Ariel, I didn't see you standing over here." Y.k said loudly.

Ariel smiled.

"You were obviously busy." Ariel said.

"That's not an excuse, you could have called out my name."

"It's fine seriously, I just got here."

"That's good to know, how are you doing?"

"I'm fine, what about you?"

"I'm absolutely okay, it's nice to see your face this early in the morning."

Ariel chuckled.

"It seems you have company already, won't they be annoyed you left them for me? Why are you surrounded by that large crowd of girls? You didn't do something bad, did you?"

Y.k laughed.

"Of course not, they were just asking me few questions about the football match we played and the upcoming ones, it's not that easy to be star is it?"

Before Ariel could respond, Marie suddenly appeared in front of them.

"I'm sorry but I'll have to steal her away from you for now, my sincere apologies." Marie said cheerfully and took Ariel by the hand and began to walk away with her.

Y.k opened his mouth to protest but Ariel assured him they would see each other later that day so he kept his peace and went back to his fangirls, Ariel saw the murderous glares the girls shot at her as she and Marie walked away, she was curious and decided to ask Marie about it.

"Marie, why was those girls glaring at me? If looks could kill I would be dead by now!" Ariel exclaimed.

Marie laughed making Ariel get confused.

"Those girls? They have every right to want to murder you." Marie said.

"Why? Did I do something bad?"

"Of course you did."

"What did I do?"

"You were talking to Y.k, he's the golden boy do the school, most sought after by the prettiest of girls so they would be rightfully angry if he who hardly paid any attention to them leaves them standing to attend to you."

"Oh, I didn't realize."

"Now you do."

"But he was just talking to me, nothing more, that doesn't mean there's something going on between the two of us."

"Girl, they don't think that way, all they know is you find favor in his sight and they don't."

"That's interesting."

"Thats not all, they are also pissed that you have to do nothing to get his attention while they throw themselves at him day and night at any given opportunity, it isn't something to reckon with, that's why they have a huge grudge with you, quick advice, stay away from them for your own safety."

"From all the girls in school?"

"Nope, just Y.k fanbase and crushs."

"That's funny, so.... Do you fancy him also uh? You are one of his admirers aren't you?"

"No, ewww, never!"

Ariel laughed.

"Don't be so dramatic, you know you can tell me anything, your secret is safe with me, I promise." Ariel promised.

"He's nice and handsome and all but I do have feelings for someone else who certainly is far from being him."

"Interesting, who is it? Tell me." Ariel said curiously.

"No I can't, I'm not sure about my feelings yet."

"Of course you are, don't be sure, I promise not to tease you."

"For real! It's nothing, let go of it."

Ariel wanted to keep pressing Marie for information but she chose to let it go, besides they were just friends and were not that close yet so she just let Marie be.
