The Realm In Between

Viney's POV:

"Yo, theme song! Shut up!" I yelled at my alarm clock before turning it off. 

I ran into the kitchen still in my pajamas (a white hoodie, black shorts, and blue and orange striped knee-high socks) to grab my scroll and earbuds where I left them last night. I connected the earbuds and slid back to my room singing along, "I listen to a lotta true crime, I listen to it at night!" I said excited to go see my friends at school, mostly stoked about skipping with Em. I threw on my uniform and made some breakfast. As I ate Bo walked in, tired as usual, she was also in her uniform.

"Morning sleepyhead, ride on Puddles to wake you up?" I offered my sister even though we rode to school on Puddles every day.

"Coffee and food, then we talk," she said sounding so much like our parent. Bo is really close with them and acts a lot like them.

-tiny time skip-

"Thanks Puddles, here ya go," I said hopping of the griffin and letting it eat an apple.

"VINEY!" I heard a voice call out, turning around I saw it was Em. I then pulled her into a big bear hug.

"No PDA, BOOOOOOO!!" Ed said walking towards us.

"Ooh, we have BIG news," she said.

"What is it?" I asked, hoping it wasn't another prank war. Last time Ed got a concussion and Em was hospitalized.

"We're," Em said starting, she was first born so she always had to be first.

"Joining," Ed said obviously annoyed his sister was stealing his thunder but he was used to it.

"Multiple!"

"Trackssss!"Ed finished with jazz hands

"Cool! Which ones?" I asked.

"I'm joining Healing," Em said smirking, now we didn't need to skip to hang out and I was happy about that.

"I'm joining Beast-Keeping and Potions." Ed said, always getting put last.

"Sick! Now all three of us have classes together," I said right before the bell screamed.

Today seemed like it was gonna be a good day.
