Chapter 106

"You better eat your food and keep your negotiation skills for work-related matters." You grabbed some food and shoved it in his mouth, in an attempt to shut him up and he started laughing in between his chews, finding you as funny as ever.

---Change of set---

Dae was conversing with her client in her office right before the door flew open rather abruptly and she was met with a breathless Taehyung and her secretary struggling by the side of his arm, to keep him outside but she had failed.

"What the-"

"Engaged? Really?!! Are you freaking kidding me?!" Taehyung yelled at her, allowing Dae instantly to understand that Yoongi had given the news about Ari to him and Taehyung seemed to be visibly disliking that decision of hers.

"Taehyung, this is not the time. I have a patient here!" Dae tried to get control of the situation before she looked towards her patient that looked rather confused, sitting on her couch.

"Excuse me, Sir, just don't kill yourself today and come tomorrow again. We have important things to discuss here so go have ice cream or something." Taehyung walked over to the man and grabbed him by his arm, only to pull him up and push him towards the door while telling him those words, which left in shock, both Dae and her secretary. 

He could care less, however, as he closed the door right in the face of that patient and the secretary and turned around to face Dae , before he rushed closer to her and took hold of her shoulders, making her freeze in place momentarily.

"Tell me her exact whereabouts. You off all people must know so don't try to lie to me. I am not gonna let her get married!" He stated rather confidently and Dae just looked at him for a moment, contemplating over what she should tell him.

"Why are you so worked up? As far as I know you didn't even tried to stop her from leaving when she wanted to break up with you. She has every right to be happy and find better you know." She told him, despite the fact that she was feeling slightly bad for him, for Ari wasn't getting engaged for real, nor she had a new boyfriend. After arriving in Greece, on the plain she had met this nice man, with whom she had ended up talking about her heart ache and he had given her this idea, to see if Taehyung had truly any feelings or serious intentions towards her.

That man named Jung Hoseok was a menace to society was what Dae had thought when Ari had explained to her the plan over video call, but nonetheless Dae wanted for their relationship to get fixed so she had promised her to help and so she had done today, once Yoongi had given her the chance to lie in the right way.

"Of course she deserves better, I know that she is great, I know that other man is all she could have ever dreamed but I love her. Please, please help me. I just need a second chance. I swear I will do better." Taehyung pleaded as he left his tight grip on her shoulders fall, letting the dispair surface on his orbs.

It was ridiculous and he knew it, part of him couldn't even admit it to his own self, but he was to lie if he was to say that having no hope on ever getting her back, didn't hurt like hell. He wasn't someone set on forever nor he believed there was anything that could last forever, however he certainly wanted his relationship with Ari to last a bit more. Just a bit more for he wasn't ready to let go, he wasn't ready to move on nor he wanted to love, or hold anyone else.

"I don't know what to tell you. That's not something I can decide-"

"I know, but she isn't replying to my calls nor messages. How the heck am I supposed to communicate? How am I supposed to compete over that new guy if I am miles away? Please just give me her address. Just this once, only this once, be my friend more than you are hers and I swear I will make it up to you. Anything you want. " Since begging didn't seem to go well he ended up on the second best approach that was bribe and Dae couldn't help but chuckle a bit at his words but eventually she left a sly smile appear on her lips.

"Anything huh...even betraying your best friend?" She asked him and Taehyung's mind froze for a moment despite the fact that he assumed that she was referring to Yoongi.

What kind of thing was she gonna ask of him, he couldn't guess but for the looks of it, it did sound risky but if he was to weigh the situation, he was in a pinch.

"Utter your request and consider it done." He uttered and reached her hand out to him to seal the deal with a handshake, and he did so, with an already guilty mind towards Yoongi.

"This deal is for life, just so you know. As you breath and I do, there will be nothing that you know of him that I don't. You are my eternal spy from now on." Dae explained to him and Taehyung pursed his lips as he nodded his head, asserting his fate.

Dae retrieved her hand and went on her desk, only to return with a piece of paper in which he had written on anything that he may need and Taehyung's face lit up upon holding it in his hand, feeling as if hope was renewed within him.

"Thank you. I swear I will always remember what you did for me. You are awesome." He cheered before he rushed outside the door, leaving Dae smiling while she observed him disappear,then she walked over to where she had left her phone, and proceeded to tell on him to Ari with a calm consiousness.

He never asked of her to not tell after all.
