JIMIN POV
When Jungkook shows up at my place on Saturday morning, I'm as jittery as if I'd downed a pot of coffee. Oh right, I had.
Fortunately, with the shows for the past week and a half, I haven't had much time to dwell on my predicament.
But now... it's all-consuming.
I can't believe I'd asked Jungkook to play my boyfriend.
I know I should just come clean about my little lie and show up
at Steve Andre's place alone.I could just say that Jungkook and I broke up Or be honest and admit that I'm not actually gay to begin with.
Then again, this is Drape Magazine!
They cover fashion all over the world.
They're in print and online, They have their own models and sets.
They land sweet locations for non-set shoots, Drape Magazine is like the next Vogue.
I'd do anything to work for them.
Having this job practically land in my lap was a dream come true.
But here's Jungkook, at my door, ready to pose as my boyfriend.
How fucked up was this?
Before I answer the door, I double-check my appearance in the giant mirror of my studio.
I run a hand through my blond hair, carefully arranging the front which is blown up,gently flopping forward and sprayed into place.
My black Henley shirt with the sleeves pushed up, red twill shorts, with my brown leather Olukai loafers is my third change of clothes but the best look.
I feel like working at the fashion magazine is at least improving my fashion game.
I open the door and Jungkook looks as nervous as I am.
"Hey." is all he says.
"Hey yourself."
As a photographer, I see beauty in everyone, men and women alike.
Jungkook is gorgeous. He's tall.
And strong.
I'd photographed him before, too.
Headshots and some stock photo work and always told him he should consider print work but he preferred to be moving and walking and talking.
He is always moving around.
I even remember him getting into trouble in elementary school for it, Probably why he excelled in sports.
It was a huge blow when Jungkook got injured so badly his sophomore year of college.
But then he found acting and was saved a couple of years of concussions.
I look over what Jungkook's wearing and barely contain the laughter that threatens to burst out of my chest.
"What?" he asks defensively, realizing I'm checking out his attire.
"C'mon." I protest, waving him into my loft.
"You look like you're trying too hard. A pink button-down?"
"Seriously? And this bow-tie?" I push, tweaking the pre-tied bow-tie on his neck.
"No self-respecting gay man would wear a pre-tied tie." I explain, plucking the black abomination from his neck.
If I had to guess, I'd guess it's his uniform tie from work.
