After the night had passed, everyone was woken up to Monokuma's normal morning announcement. However, what was peculiar was that he told everyone to go to the gym near the end. Fear was looming over everyone as soon as they heard, while they also began to wonder what he had in store this time.
When everyone had made it to the gym, they all held their breath in anticipation. Whatever Monokuma had in store, they knew he'd no doubt make sure that everyone was going to play in his little game. And with that anticipation, he began it...
Which was a morning exercise routine.
Monokuma tried gathering everyone together, but only Taka seemed to join in. He reluctantly sighed and started the exercise with Taka. The two began their exercise in front and center of the gym, while classical music was playing in the background.
"Okay! Now life your arms up nice and easily. Up and down!" Monokuma instructed. "One, two, three, four!"
"One, two, three, four!" Taka repeated out loud, while following every instruction.
"Now reach as hiiigh as you can!" Monokuma reached up. "Then bend all the way down, c'mon touch your feet! Tighten those muscles! We're gonna make you strong, we're gonna make you quick. Let's make sure your bodies are fit and peak!"
Monokuma and Taka both finished their exercise, while everyone gave them both dumbfounded and annoyed looks.
"Ahhhh." Monokuma said with a refreshing look as he hoped off the stage. "Isn't it so great. Being stuck in here you really gotta keep up the healthy body."
"Y-You're the one who's keeping us here!" Toko barked.
"Hey, hey! Don't just keep sweatin' the small things. Afterall that's my motto for living life!" Monokuma smirked. "That was actually kinda cool, c'mon you liked it, admit it. You loved it, and you all love me? Aren't I just to absolutely die over, aren't I just to die in a burning wind of torment for?"
"The hell you call us in for?" Junko complained. "Cus I don't give a flying flip bout just a morning exercise and crap."
Monokuma grumbled. "Just? Do you really mean "Just" a morning exercise! This exercise can make you laugh, but it can also make you weep and cry. If you keep on doing these exercises, you can uncover all the secrets of the Assassin's Fist! This power has been passed from generation to generation by the emperor of darkness. It's possible to learn this power, just not from a deadweight. And guess what, that means you all can learn it too!"
"Huh?" Hiro gave a confused glare. "I don't get it."
"I don't think it was supposed to make sense." Hifumi commented. "It sounds more like what a middle schooler would envision their own world would be like, so it just doesn't make sense."
"Sounds about right." Leon agreed.
"That doesn't matter!" Makoto blurted out. "Let's get to the point already. Did you really just call us all here for morning exercises?"
"Don't ya have any brains? Of course not!" Monokuma growled. "I wish I had that kind of time on my hands..."
"Alright, but then what is it?" Makoto grew inpatient.
"Alright, alright." Monokuma relented. "I'll tell you all. So, starting now, every time you overcome a class trial here at Hope's Peak, a whole new world will open to you!"
"A whole new world?" Hiro repeated.
"Now think about it, wouldn't it suck to live here forever and ever. Nothing new or interesting to stimulate you." Monokuma explained. "And besides, I know how you kids get these days, with your ADD and ADHD's. Think of it as motivation! So, I implore you, to look and live through what I have to offer. Enjoy the whole new post-trial world! Ya could even say you're gonna enjoy it, to death."
