An unfortunate accident, or an attempted assassination?
Y/N, the gender neutral partner of Hu Tao now heads to Sumeru to uncover the answer of what exactly happened to their girlfriend, and to free her from whatever ails her now as a result of that...
Nilou: "Sooooo– *phew!* That was quite the workout! Anyways! What did you think? Did you like our dance? Collei? Y/N? How'd we do with telling your story?"

After having chased after Nilou, I was able to get both myself and Collei who was riding on my back to the theatre in time before the next part of their performance. Although Nilou did seem to get accosted and shouted at by what seemed to be her boss which made me feel a little bad... but she didn't seem to get into too much trouble, nor did she seem to be too affected by the scolding either... I guess this must happen a lot then, huh!
Once we realised that we'd made it back in time, Nilou turned and waved at us before then heading back with the rest of the performers. And now that we were no longer in a rush I had kneeled down and allowed the girl on my back to dismount me and stand back down on her own two feet. Now back to being two separate people walking, we headed back to where we were originally, when we watched the first act of this Sumeru performance – up on that ledge high up above the rest of the audience, safe from the crowding that Collei seemed to want to avoid.
After a little bit of waiting in silence, the performance began and the two of us sat up there in that shadowed vantage point. It really was quite the entertaining performance to watch, and was a very interesting recreation of my story since my revival back in those plains of Liyue...
But it didn't seem like Collei felt the same way...
Collei: "Uhmmm... Y/N? I uhm... I'm sorry about... about before..."
Y/N: "Hm? You mean when you...? Oh, don't worry about that! I totally understand why you did what you did. I'm just sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I guess I just got used to people knowing who I was before I'd even said hello to them!"
Collei: "even still... i should have let you explain... i just—"
Y/N: "Please, Collei, don't worry about it, alright? Let's just watch this performance for now, and then we can talk more after, if you still want to?"
Collei: "Oh– uhm... yes please. I think I'd like to know a bit more about who it is that I'm going to be travelling with... and uhm... if you wouldn't mind... can you tell me more about what it is that we're going to be doing?"
Y/N: "Of course! We can go somewhere quiet after this and we can talk for a bit about anything you want to know! Oh! Actually, you wouldn't happen to know some craftsmen or furniture shops in this city?"
Collei: "Hm? Furniture shops? Why would you be looking for—... y–Yeah, I know where we could find some places like that."
Y/N: "Great! Thanks again for all your help so far Collei. You've been a great guide! Now, well... I'll leave you alone now, so you can enjoy the rest of Nilou's performance..."
But now? Now the performance was over, and Nilou had ushered the two of us over to talk with her whilst she rests for a moment after all her movements... much to the dismay of her very evident fans. And now she was asking us what we thought of the performance, and she seemed quite interested in how accurate I thought it all to be.
