"A Christmas Full of Love"

May I say that this is one of my favorite times of the year? Enjoying these holidays with my family is something that de-stresses me, I really like spending time with my family, even though I have to be traveling all the time, my family is very important to me *insert Vin Diesel meme ok no* . But this year will be totally different, for the first time I'm going to spend Christmas with the person whom I love the most and adore with all my soul, after these three years of relationship, we will finally be able to celebrate this festivity together, since, because They assigned her a guard at the hospital to attend to those who suffered some kind of accident during these holidays, we could not spend Christmas together, but today they will give her the freedom to rest on this day.

For two weeks now, I've been planning a special surprise for Amaya as a Christmas gift, and no, I'm not going to propose to her (or maybe I am? ok no) because I feel it's too soon, and what I want the most now, it is to enjoy our courtship for as long as possible, just a nice night having dinner, watching movies, playing video games, opening presents; enjoying every hour, minute and second of this night alone.

The singing of the birds sounded non-stop and the rays of the warm sun passed through the window of my room until they reached my white bed, in which I was sleeping soundly, the night before I had prepared to finish preparing everything for the surprise that I have for the girl, which made me end up going to sleep until 2 in the morning, everything was totally calm and somewhat silent for several minutes, until the annoying noise of my cell phone alarm began to ring, breaking that such an exquisite environment that you do not want to leave.

*Beep beep*

Alarm.

8:15 a.m.

"5 more minutes..." I opened my eyes quickly and reluctantly turned off the alarm on my cell phone, which was on the nightstand. "One can no longer sleep peacefully..." I said, closing my eyes again, I fell again asleep.

On second thought... I think it's better that I had slept earlier the night before and continued with what I had pending the next day, even if I wasn't struggling to wake up and get out of bed easily.

Few hours later.

10:48 a.m.

My eyes widened when I felt the sunlight fall on my face, I barely sat up in bed, I took my cell phone and turned it on so I could see the time, I almost fell out of bed in surprise.

"How come there are 10 minutes left until 11 in the morning?!" I got up quickly from bed leaving my phone on the big white bedspread half-tended, going downstairs I went to the living room, which already had the gifts prepared For the girl, I placed them under the big tree already decorated with spheres and garlands, almost everything seemed a complete disaster, I let out a lazy sigh. "I think the best thing to do is start cleaning..." I said reluctantly and went On the way to the cleaning room, take a broom and a dustpan to start sweeping the entire floor of the living room and the kitchen.

12:03 p.m.

It didn't take me long to clean up all the mess I had left overnight, it was simply putting the gift wraps I had used to wrap the gifts in my study closet, sweeping up those little bits of the wrappings scattered on the floor of sophisticated wood, and tidy up the living room and kitchen a bit.
