ACE & WHITEBEARD'S DAUGHTER

"Y/N!-sama! Where are you? We have to go now before dawn or else the Navy will catch up on us," you heard your bodyguard voice and footsteps coming near to where you are hiding your self inside the secret room in the cabin you rented for a day.

You are trying not to get caught by your persistent 'bodyguard' Portgas D. Ace. He was ordered by your father 'Whitebeard' to protect you from his enemies. And that's the reason why you are not going to leave the island with Ace.

You don't need someone to protect you at all! You believe that you are capable of standing and fighting on your own. Not to mention that you are the daughter of the world's strongest man!

"There you are!"

Your eyes almost popped out when you saw how Ace burned the door of the secret room where you are trying to hide your self from Ace.

"What the heck are you doing?!" you shouted at him, bewildered.

You haven't paid the owner of this cabin yet and now... Ace is trying to burn the whole house!

"Come on, Y/N-sama. We have to go now," he was about to grabbed your hand but you slap his hand away.

"Go away, Ace! I told you to leave me alone, didn't I?" you tried to skip on him but he caught your waist and pulled you far away from the burning secret room.

You can hear some people's scream as you and Ace ran away from the the cabin you rented. You have no time to pay the owner because Ace is already dragging you toward the shore.

"I hate you, Ace! I hate you so much!" you tried to attack him but it is meaningless because he is much stronger than you.

"Y/n... stop insisting  that it's better if I leave you alone here. Whether you like it or not, you will have to come with me and visit the Island where father is. He ordered me to protect you and I am willing to do that even if it costs my life."

You scoffed. He's also calling your father 'father' when he's not even your father's biological son. Your the only child of Whitebeard.

And he is ordered to protect you at all cost? That's just so funny! Without Ace and your father's protection, you can still fight by yourself.

"Stop this crap, Ace. I can handle myself. Alone. Okay?" you said in a final tone.

You are about to turned away when he gripped your hand. "Listen to me, Y/n—"

"No. You listen to me!" you pointed him. "I don't fucking need you! I want you gone, Ace! Just go away!"

Those words from you made Ace lost all the emotion on his face. You stilled and can't help but to stare at Ace's emotionless eyes. But you can see deep in his eyes that he is hurt by your words.

"Ace—"

"Let's go," he muttered and turned his back on you.

"Ace!" you frustratingly grabbed your hair. "I don't want to come with you! Please, just... just go by yourself."

He stopped and look at you over his shoulder.

"Y/n..." he gave you an empty smile. "You better stop now or else I will lose my mind."

"Why? Just why, Ace? Why are you still holding me when I'm already pushing you away?" you asked him as your heart start beating wildly.

You thought he was going to ignore you but he shifted his feet and fully faced you. He looked at you with so much hurt in his face. This is the first time that you've seen him like this.

"That's because I am scared to lost you!" he almost cried. "I am deeply inlove with you, y/n!"

After Ace said those words, your world literally stopped moving. All your senses stopped and the only thing you can hear is the loud beat of your heart.

"A-Ace..." your voice broke as heat goes up to your face.

Ace saw that you are about to cry and he blinked.

"No... No... don't cry..." he stepped forward until he's infront of you again. He lifted his hand and wipe the single tear that was about to fall from your eyes.

"H-How... I mean, when did you start loving me?" you sniffed and stop yourself from sobbing.

You have no idea that Ace also love you. He never gave you any sign or hint.

"Since day one, y/n," he responded, smiling. "I've been loving you from the day we met until now."

"Ace..." you cried before wrapping your arms around his neck. He hugged you back, encircling his arms around you waist.

"Can you say it back too, y/n?" he whispered softly on your ear. "Please."

A smile escaped from your mouth as your tears begin to fall again. You hate him yet you can't stop yourself from loving your bodyguard. He is the only one man that can make you feel like you are the most precious woman in the world.

You took a deep breath before you whispered, "I love you, Ace."
