Chapter 110

She froze in his arms after those words sunk into her mind and after a few seconds they exchanged still, Taehyung took a deep breath and slowly pulled away from her. His hands found their way to hers and he took them and held them tenderly as they were finally facing each other, without much anger or fury.

"I am sorry..." He uttered first and she left her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance as she looked away from him. " All these days you have been away from me...all this time that I passed without being able to call you mine...I really thought I could get used to being without you quickly, but I kept missing you and everyone and everything kept reminding me of the fact that I don't have you-"

Taehyung went on to spill the feelings of his heart and she softly raised her gaze to meet his now pleading one.

"I know I was the one that lost you. I know I deserve the fact that you made me feel so miserable by making me think that you found another already. I dwelled and dwelled, trying to tell myself it can not be true. How could you unlove me so quickly, how could you forget me so simply, while I  didn't wash the pillowcase you sleep in just so I could get a glimpse of sleep?" The grievance showed in his eyes as he halted his words and Ari found herself feeling guilty.

But the more she was comprehending and replaying his words in her head, the more a sense of satisfaction and joy took over her that she couldn't hide and thus a smile formed on her lips, which made Taehyung get frustrated.

"You are laughing? I am spilling my heart out and you are laughing?" He raised an eyebrow at her, looking rather offended and Ari burst out laughing, making him let go of her hands and take a step back.

"These are my feelings! They are not funny okay! I suffered! I had to betray my own friend to find out your location and I rushed there, ready to risk it all just to talk to you and try to change your mind only to overhear you talking with that guy about how you were playing me! Do you even know how unfair that felt!" He went off while she had allowed her burst of laughter to die down, listing well to him, but still smiling from ear to ear.

"Oh, so you wanted to take your blood back by doing all this tonight? You aren't really in a new relationship with Y/N?" She crossed her arms over her chest as she questioned what she had pretty much settled on in her mind after his early confession.

"I am obviously not. Jungkook is." 

"Who now is what?!" Ari's shock took over her face instantly as she wondered if she had heard him right.

"Yeah, you have missed episodes. Apparently, I had also, cause only tonight I found out. I almost lost my head trying to get you angered enough to come here." He admitted, as his hand reached to his neck, feeling somehow unsafe while in his head resurfaced that glare Jungkook had given him while he was claiming to be in a relationship with you. 

"How did this happen? When? I think my mind is going blank right now." She held her forehead as she spoke, finding it really difficult for her to process the information as it was almost impossible. You and Jungkook used to bicker like crazy whenever you were to see each other and he used to have eyes only for Seon. You also have an issue with touch which Ari was aware of. No wonder it was difficult for her to digest this bomb information.

"Don't ask me anything. I don't know either. All I know is that it's real though. They returned from the rooftop and announced it. This is their first day officially together." Taehyung went on to fill her in and Ari took her moment before she concluded that no matter everything if this was their wish, then she will wish them happiness with all her heart.

"I guess this party will turn out to have a real reason to celebrate then. That's great. I will stay." She announced as she turned around to get back inside but Taehyung grabbed her hand and turned her back around.
