Haruka Kanzaki stood on the podium with two guys she beat up and one she never bothered making conversation with, her eyes glued to her feet.
She was ashamed of herself, she had let her inner self take over without it saying a word. Her father managed to turn her into a monster with a few words and a disappointed look.
She could hear the fireworks and the crowds cheering as the podium rose from the ground, She could also see her classmates sweat-drop at how Bakugou was chained to his no.2 spot. She found the muzzle a bit excessive, he wasn't an actual rabid dog, despite his behavior indicating otherwise.
She couldn't look up or her organs might some out of her mouth.
Allmight turned out to be the one who was handing out the medals and when her turn came in the end Haru wanted to run away.
"Alright young Ha-Kanzaki you certainly surprised everyone today." He told her placing the meddle around her neck. It feels heavy and tight as though it was a noose rather than an award.
"Yeah by beating up two boys senseless. I know how dangerous my powers are, more so than anyone else and still I was such an idiot today." She told him through gritted teeth.
"You're still young and right now you'll often find yourself being reckless because you let your emotions control you. It's normal and nothing you should be ashamed off. It happens to the best of us." The man told her embracing her.
The sports festival would come to an end with the audience booing Allmight for saying 'Good Work' rather than 'Plus Ultra' and Haru would rejoin her classmates in the 1-A classroom.
After Aizawa explained what would happen after two days and dismissed the class, everyone gathered their stuff and all the girls gathered near the entrance.
"We should have a sleepover right now." Ashido suggested.
"Totally since we don't have school for the next two days." Hagakure agreed.
"I'm not sure. Everyone must be exhausted after the festival." Yayarozu disagreed.
"Oh come one Yao-momo it would be fun." Uraraka encouraged her.
"Besides it's a sleep-over what do you think we'll do?" Haru added, sharing a mischevious look with the rest of the girls, her mood seemed to be lifting.
"Oh allright." Momo agreed.
"That's great and all, but where would all of us fit?" Jirou asked.
"Oh we could go to my place, I have enough space." Haru offered.
"Perfect. We'll all go to Kanzaki's. Let me just make a group chat." Mina decided.
"I'll just text you the address. Come by 7ish."
