Illogically Logical (Senku x Fem!reader)

"So deep!" Yuzuriha had sparkles in her eyes as she listened to her doc friend speak.

"I think the point of this question is more to reveal who's most important to you." The student cut in.

"That's ten billion percent obvious," Senku said. "Your book belongs in the trash."

"Agreed." (Y/n) nodded.

"Senku wouldn't go the suicide route," Taiju pointed out, remembering the answer Senku had given for that questionnaire. "He wouldn't sacrifice anyone. He would stake the whole game on the chance to save us all. We have to figure out what he was thinking. If anyone can do it, then it should be his friends! (Y/n), you're a doctor, you know the human body the best, isn't there anything you noticed about him that was different? Like a body part or something?"

"Give me a moment meathead," (Y/n) started to examine Senku's body for anything that could give them some kind of clue as to how they can wake Senku up. There has to be something he was hinting at that means saving his life.When she came across the back of Senku's neck, something felt off. It didn't feel like hair, or skin. Instead, it felt like stone. "His neck."

Senku's body was quickly turned around so that his neck showed, with a small piece of it still being petrified.

"You damn genius," (Y/n) smiled a little. "Yuzuriha, the miracle fluid please."

"Here." Yuzuriha handed (Y/n) the jar.

(Y/n) poured the miracle fluid onto the petrified area of Senku's neck. Waiting for reaction to happen, the stone suddenly broke.

"The petrification is gone!" Yuzuriha yelled, surprised to see it work.

"Wake up, Senku!" Taiju yelled, trying to get the smaller boy to move or show any signs of life. "I know you'd live! I knew you weren't gonna let yourself be killed nt in a place like this! Senku, you're... the star of hope! For humanity. For all of civilization. So please... Come back! You have to wake up, Senku!"

(Y/n) brought her head close to Senku's chest, listening for a heartbeat. If Senku really is going to come back because his neck was repaired, then his heart has to start at some point. It's hard enough to hear a heartbeat when her mind was in such a panic, but it's harder because of the thunder and lightning.

"Hey Senku!" Taiju continued to yell.

Oh yeah, (Y/n) forgot to factor in Taiju's yelling.

"Come on!" Taiju continued to yell, not really getting the hint that (Y/n) was trying to listen to her friend's heartbeat. "I'll wait for you however long it takes! Because I can't do this without you! Please come back! Please, Senku!"

She heard it.

A heartbeat.

Senku's heart started to beat.

The clouds started to disappear, the storm coming to and end with the rain stopping and the sun showing its bright face once again.

Taiju and Yuzuriha looked up at the sky, no longer looking at Senku's body.

"The storm, it's over." Taiju pointed out.
