Illogically Logical (Senku x Fem!reader)

"I'm perfectly fine, okay?" Senku said, tugging on the makeshift flag to loosen it a little. "Professor Senku volunteered his body and the experiment was a great success."

"And Doctor (Y/n) is diagnosing you with a chronic illness called insanity," (Y/n) flicked Senku's forehead. "I'm prescribing you some medicine."

"What's the medicine called?" Taiju asked.

"Sanity."

"Here you go!" Yuzuriha smiled as she showed (Y/n) something she had made. It was a flag as well, but this one didn't look like a spaceship with stars. No. This one looked like different things that go into the medical field. There were bottles that were supposed to be modern prescription bottles, pills, neeles, medicine injectors, there were just a lot of things that ties into (Y/n)'s knowledge. "Here! Sorry it isn't super good, but now you have your own flag!"

"Oh wow," (Y/n) smiled as she took the flag from Yuzuriha and examined it. "There's so many aspects of the medical field you've put in here, and it's nice to have my own flag. Once civilization is back, I'll have flags like these at every hospital under the Kingdom of Medicine."

"That would be so cool!" Yuzuriha said happily.

(Y/n) smiled and tied the flag around her neck so it kind of looked like the flag that was around Senku's neck. It's a good place to keep track of it, and besides, she likes it.

Taiju's laugh broke the girls out of their conversation. Senku ended up speaking, but the girls were too busy in their own conversation.

"First we thought turning into stone ruined everyone's lives, but I guess it kinda saved yours this time, huh?" Taiju asked, trying to keep things positive. "Having soap is a lifesaver for us! (Y/n) is our doctor, but having this soap really does make this whole process easier for her!"

(Y/n) laughed a little. "This entire situation has given Senku and I a lot of information that's really important for us. We are lucky enough that Senku had the back of his neck still petrified, so he was able to come back. We can't rely on that though. We don't know if this will work with someone who has a different part of their body petrified and dead."

"We should start covering up our tracks," Senku said and handed (Y/n) a branch. "Start covering the tracts Doc."

Senku and (Y/n) started erasing any signs of Senku being alive while Taiju was doing a supply check, Yuzuriha was finding the pieces to a statue an started to rebuild them.

"Seeing as it was able to fix Senku's neck, maybe we can piece these statues back together and pour the revival fluid on them, they'll come back whole again." Yuzuriha tried to stay a little optimistic while holding one of the arms that broke off, the other was somewhere around the area.

"I tried that fairy early on," Senku said, remembering how those experiments had gone. "They ended up turning into dismembered corpses."

"He has no repsect for the dead." (Y/n) sighed.

"There has to be some reason why it doesn't work." Sneku continued brushing the ground with the branch.

(Y/n) thought for a moment. She was thinking back to the healing processes in humans and other mammals. The healing water is able to bind the pieces back together, something a little like normal healing with skin. It starts replicating until the wound is covered, and once both sides of the injured area are bound together, they stop replicating. She whispered in Senku's ear her theory.

"Yuzuriha," Senku grabbed the attention of the other girl. "Taiju is ten billion percent too crude to pull it off, but you're our super-skilled craft club member. This is gonna be a grueling mission. You up for it?"
