Y/N and Piccolo fly down from the lookout to the tournament. Piccolo, now complete, feels it necessary to test his strength. The two fly at full speed rather than teleporting, to not frighten the other contestants.

Y/N: We've kinda leveled off on flying speed huh...

Piccolo: Without damaging the landscape... yes.

Y/N: Well, I suppose that this is fine. If we can't end up going all out at the tournament, do you want to fight somewhere else?

Piccolo: Sure. I hope Goku can join us.

About a year before the tournament, Goku decided to train on his own. He had Piccolo increase the weight of his clothes by 10x, as to not accidentally destroy any landscape while training.

???: What do you mean? I would never pass up a good fight!

Y/N and Piccolo turn around to see Goku. He has a strange arua around him, it's yellowish and very aggressive, his pupils are yellow and his hair is spiked directly upwards.

Goku: I've gotten quite a lot stronger after figuring out I can transform. It turns out I turn into a giant monkey!

Piccolo's eyes widened, while Y/N was just surprised he could even remember turning.

Goku: I trained my mind to try to get some control, and after a while, I kinda just... figured this out.

Y/N: Uriel. Is that form what I think it is?

Uriel: Correct. It's the power of Oozaru in his base form, thus transforming him more efficiently.

Y/N: That's very impressive Goku! To think that not only have you controlled the Oozaru but have also turned it into a base!

Goku gave Uriel a confused look.

Goku: How do you know what this is exactly?

Y/N: Uriel told me. She does have absurd powers, sometimes she even shares them with me. Anyway...

Y/N started to look towards the tournament grounds, seeing a massive crowd getting tickets.

Y/N: We should sign up before there isn't any space left.

The trio flies down to the usher.

Usher: Oh wow! It's Y/N and Son Goku! You two have become something of a legend for the tournament. I hope that the two of you are entering.

Y/N: We are. We also have a voucher for you.

Y/N points to Piccolo.

Y/N: This is Kami.

The man's eyes bulge out of his head to see that god himself is entering the tournament.

Man: K-Kami?! THE Kami?!

Piccolo: I told you to keep that under wraps, Y/N!

Y/N: Sorry, but now the three of us should be able to get in without trouble.

Man: Of course! I'm very excited to see you three fight!

Goku: I'm excited too! I think I might be able to defeat them this time!

Y/N: Sure you will, Goku.

The three laugh as they walk to the waiting area. Once they're inside the waiting room, they see their friends, along with a few massive powers.
