Well after Y/N's Ultra Instinct training started...

Y/N's POV

Y/N: I see...

I've begun to harness the power and speed of Ultra Instinct. 

Y/N: This is very unstable... is that the way it is by nature?

Dai-Shinkan: No. Ultra Instinct is very volatile in the stages you're at. If better harnessed, it will become the strongest tool in your arsenal.

Y/N: I see... Then if the destroyers have problems with this... then is it unique to angels?

Dai-Shinkan: Yes and No. Although anyone can harness the Ultra Instinct, it can only be used at its full potential by either an angel or someone who has formed their unique version.

Y/N: It may be best for me to try and do this...

I pull towards the power that Uriel gave to me when she merged into me. I pull my angelic side over my human side, and the physical change is apparent.

Dai-Shinkan: I guess you're closer to Uriel now than before?

Y/N: That's right. I am, and my potential has vastly increased, leave me while I meditate on Ultra instinct.

Dai-Shinkan left me to meditate. In the brief moments that I was meditating, I had already broken through the lowest stages of Ultra Instinct.

Y/N: This may not be as difficult as I thought...

One day in the real world...

Y/N: Or maybe not... tapping into 50% of Ultra Instinct already took this long? I'll need a complete change in status if I want both the physical and the potential to harness 100%... perhaps the Kais will hold something in their pockets... Dai-Shinkan!

I shout into the void, and in mere moments the Grand Priest appears in front of me.

Y/N: I must leave the chamber to speak with the Kais.

Dai-Shinkan after shaking off my progress nods his head.

Dai-Shinkan: That is a splendid idea. I see you understand what you need to harness the full power of Ultra Instinct.

Y/N: I have an Idea. It might not work given my massive power... but I've been told by Uriel before she merged into me, that Universe 11 holds massive power, and their Kai can unlock the mortal barrier for any mortal in Universe 11. I plan on going there.

Dai-Shinkan: I warn you before you go. The process of the full unlock is terrifying, bordering on painful, and that's just for mortals. Due to your absurd potential that surpasses anything this Multiverse can muster, it will be more than excruciating, but entirely impossible to fathom.

Y/N: I've had worse.

Dai-Shinkan and I chuckle.

Y/N: Thank you.

Author POV

Dai-Shinkan: What?

Y/N: Thank you for everything. The last teacher I had perished at the hands of the time... You remind me greatly of him. Of Kami.

Dai-Shinkan smiled and walked towards Y/N... and pulled him into a hug. Y/N was surprised, to say the least.

Dai-Shinkan: I share the sentiment. You remind me a lot of my children from the forgotten universes. It's nice to know that even after I can no longer have kin, I can still find solace in others.

Dai-Shinkan tightened his grip. Y/N returned the embrace.

Y/N: I never had a father... I was alone finding for myself for a very very long time. At least until I met Uriel... you have treated me better than anyone I've ever known. During these centuries, you've cared for me if injured, you helped me learn more about myself and my power, even more about my fate... thank you...

Y/N was struggling not to weep. He hugged Dai-Shinkan tighter, getting as close to the father figure as he could. A smile appeared on Dai-Shinkan, as tears began to roll down his face.

Dai-Shinkan: Then I dub you as my own.

Y/N: What?

Dai-Shinkan: From this point on, in name and title... you are my son.

Y/N couldn't hold back his tears any longer.

Y/N: D-Dad... can I call you that?

Dai-Shinkan: Of course, you can son.

The two hugged once more, staying like that for a little while. They soon left the angelic chamber, hand in hand.

After the emergence of a strengthened Y/N and Dai-Shinkan...

Dai-Shink an's POV

I and my new son arrive back into Zeno's realm after cleaning up. He never let go of my hand the entire time. I suppose that must be his child-like side coming through... not that I mind in the slightest.

Dai-Shinkan: I'm home.

Y/N looked at me.

Y/N: I guess that means this in my home now too!

I couldn't help but smile. It was nice to have this again. Meerus never enjoyed this kind of thing, and the rest have been adults for many centuries.

Dai-Shinkan: Of course! You're always welcome here.

I begin to walk towards the palace when I feel two very strong, mildly hostile energy.

Dai-Shinkan: Who is-

Y/N: That feels a lot like angelic ki... no... that's impossible! They can't!

Dai-Shinkan: What are you-?

Then I feel it. Two angelic Kis are about to kill 8 mortal ones. I could sence Zeno, but he was on the other side of his realm.

Dai-Shinkan: What have my brothers done now?

I'm just annoyed now. The reason those two are even in the guard position is because of their hastiness. That has saved Zeno from annoyance on many occasions... but they do tend to be foolish when provoked.

Y/N: I'll take care of this father. I have no intention of forcing you to hurt your brothers.

What a kind boy...

Dai-Shinkan: I'll come with you so they know your status as an angel... as my son.

Y/N smiled at me, and we teleported to the scene. Once we arrived I felt Y/N's ki spike beyond what it should've been... it was honestly terrifying. A year ago if someone told me that ki was one of my sons, I would've called them mad... but that power and malice can only belong to an angel protecting their brethren... whatever happens... It will be quite a scene.
