Twisted Wonderland Book 5: A Beauitful Tyrant

Later, Briar and the others arrive at the Side Street of the Culture fair, and soon see a lot of people gathering in front of the gates. There are people talking and chatting, and some are excited for the fair to begin.

Surprised, Grim says, "It ain't even open yet, and it's already buzzin' with people!"

"This festival is a gathering of students from across the nation. There's a lot of people attending, even just counting the staff and organizers," Trey says.

Then the PA announces, "Thank you all for your patience. The National Arcane Academy Culture Fair is now open."

The gates of the school open and with chairs and applause, everyone begins to walk into the fair in excitement.

A woman says excitedly, "Which way is the Purple Stage where they're holding the Song & Dance Championship?!"

Then a man says, "Where's the standby area for purchasing cancelled same-day tickets?!"

Another woman screams, "I can't wait to see Neige IRL!"

Another woman shouts in excitement, "Eeeee! This is where Vil goes to school? Oh-em-squee, I HAVE to post this to Magicam!"

Meanwhile, Sebek and Silver are trying to direct traffic.

Sebek shouts, "YOU THERE! HUMAN! No running! And stop looking at your smartphone while walking!"

"The same-day ticket raffle is not first-come, first-served. Follow the staff's instructions and stay in line," Silver says.

Seeing the stampede, Grim says in shock, "Whoa, what's with the giant mob?!"

"It's almost like a stampede," Tanzanite says, shocked.

Sereia hides behind Briar's leg, "I'm scared."

"I think we've found Vil and that Neige LeBlanche boy's fans," Riddle says

"I knew they were global celebrities, but wow," Trey says.

"Yeah. I heard that they're both famous, but wow. They must be bigger than I thought," Briar says

Soon, Riddle walks to the group and asks, "Did you come to check up on things, Riddle? We've started a standby line behind the coliseum, just as planned."

Then Sebek questions, "What is with these crowds?! I keep sorting them out, and more just keep coming! Wretched humans!"

Riddle sternly says to Sebek, "Sebek, how many times must I tell you to stop referring to people as 'humans'? Remember, you're representing our school."

"Riddle's right. Besides, you're half one yourself" Silver says, "Your rudeness will reflect poorly on Malleus and Lilia. Choose your words more carefully."

That ends up making Sebek angry, "Wha—HOW DARE YOU TALK DOWN TO ME, SILVER!"

"Yeesh, this guy's loud! My ears are ringin' already!" Grim says.

"Sports club freshmen certainly have energy to burn," Trey says.

Then Riddle says, "I was anticipating large crowds, which was why I put Equestrian Club members front and center. I figured that if anyone would excel at diplomacy and customer service, it would be them."

"You made the right call. The trouble is that we might not have enough manpower to adequately handle the crowds right at opening time," Silver says.

Then Sebek says, "Malleus will be attending the SDC! I would never live down even the slightest misstep!"

"All right. I'll send over any staff that are done with their building work and currently unoccupied. I'm going to check on the east building. You can take it from here," Riddle says

"Right. / Yes, sir!" Silver & Sebek reply.

After that, the group soon reached Main Street.

As they walk, Riddle says, "The east stage has dressing rooms for the clubs making presentations on the Blue Stage in the gymnasium... As well as the Red Stage on the sports grounds. We'll have students from other schools using those rooms as well."

"So, is that where the SDC competitors are gonna be hangin' out?" Grim asks.

But Riddle says, "No. The coliseum has locker rooms and facilities where the SDC entrants will be staying."

"We've got a lot of visitors from Royal Sword Academy this year. We'll need to make regular rounds. Our campus is full of hotheaded guys who are quick to pick fights. When students from our rival school are around, well..." Trey explains.

Meanwhile, something is going on that has a 'Wham' sound

A Night Raven Student angrily shouts, "Hey, punk. You got snot all over my uniform. You're not even gonna apologize?"

"I said I was sorry... Achoo!" A small boy apologizes.

He has red curly red hair, and wears a scarf collar. He is also wearing a white, blue, and gold outfit.

The second student says, "Ewww! He sent more snot flyin' our way!"

Then another small boy says, "Snick! Here, blow your nose."

This boy is around the same size and is wearing the same outfit. Only he has gray hair and glasses.

The boy then passes Snick the tissue.

"Thanks, Dominic..." The boy, Snick says and blows his nose with a tissue.

The other boy Dominic turns to the Night Raven students, "I'm sorry about that. I'll pay the cleaning bill for your uniforms."

The first student angrily says, "You bet you will. Y'know, I was wondering what kindergarteners were doing here... But you kids are wearin' the Royal Sword Academy uniform, aren't you?"

Then, there is a grumpy looking boy that has spiky burgundy or reddish purple hair.

Offended, the grumpy boy says, "Who're you calling kindergarteners?! I'm the great Grum, and I'd bet I'm older than you! Don't you dare go insulting dwarfs!"

Then the third Night Raven Student says, "Heh. I was gonna let you off easy 'cause you were kids, but I guess that means I don't have to now!"

"Since you got our nice uniforms all gross, we're gonna get mud all over those white jackets of yours!" The first Night Raven student says.

Seeing the situation, Trey says, "Good grief. I didn't even have time to finish the thought out loud."

Then Riddle says, "Physical altercations on campus are a clear breach of rules. I don't need to wait for a verdict. I'll clamp down on this right now!"

And soon, Riddle and Trey head over to deal with the situation and help the small boys.
